Apparently it will be separate and feature cut photos from the Party queen photoshoot. It also might be 3000yen according to a friend.

I think it's a breath of fresh air to get an upbeat-ish album after essentially 3 [with FIVE included] super mid-tempo albums.

We'll see but I hope the majority of the album is upbeat with one or two ballads/midtempo tracks.

I only say this because if you look at the album lyrically, it's VERY much foreshadowing what was going to happen. Plus her English message mentions that she had been trying to avoid dealing with the subject for a while.

i'm super excited for this album, but it pains me so much because i don't think i'm going to buy the super limited crazy edition this time. its getting hard to justify spending $250 for something i'll just store away and never use. :(

It'll probably come out in a few months a la FIVE. It's not that time yet in the industry to bundle CD+Blu-rays normally.

The super limited thing is only really good if you want exclusive goods. Otherwise, just get the CD+3DVD and the Blu-ray or DVDs separately.

Maybe! The FIVE Blu-ray thing didn't sell so well so perhaps they'll just scrap Blu-ray editions entirely for now.

And about an OS press, I am pretty sure they will do the CD+3DVD as well. There's no reason for them not to after doing the CD+2DVD A BEST 2 way back when (Taiwan only. Doesn't look like Hong Kong did it?). Now the packaging.... not sure about that since it seems rather special.

I recall it was only a few thousand copies though (like one or two thousand)? It was reported by ayumisrael back then anyway.

They did end up doing Ayu-mi-x 7's special set in the OS press though, so perhaps they'll do at least one box version, too....

I think the multi-DVD and CD versions are a given after Next Level, but the boxes are more of a 50/50 thing....it depends on if we want to risk it, I guess? I sure wish I knew in advance that they were going to do the OS press of Ayu-mi-x 7.........so much cheaper!

Yeah that's REALLY annoying, but you can get around that with a region free player! They aren't that expensive nowadays. Such is the life of being a fan of Asian artists...

For me though, I tend to just reburn my Ayu DVDs so that I don't have to deal with the region blocks. It'd be even easier if I had dual layer DVDs, but those tend to cost quite a bit more.

This one seems pretty nice and it's also the #1 sold on YesAsia. I got a pretty cheap one from YesAsia that uses RCA cables to hook up and the quality can tend to be pretty bad. They also ship power converters along with your order so that you don't have to look for them yourself, I believe. The one I got is SR200P and works fine but I think it was also one of the cheapest options that they had.

I only watch PV DVDs on my laptop so it's easy enough to get around the region lock on DVDs. I'd rather buy Japan version concerts, so then I can watch them on any old DVD player on a TV, but for an OS press at about half price, I'll happily watch on my laptop.

The good thing about HDMI cables is that they're easily interchangeable with whatever you usually use. You just need to remember to take the plug out of whatever you're not using and put it in the other device, lol.
