original won't mean putting songs from mini albums (as avex calls them) on the album.

I'm not too worried about them putting love/again on the album. I'm confident it won't happen.

But im also the same mind as you. To me, the whole point that those other releases were not singles and were mini's is because she doesnt plan to put them on her next album.

im hoping too of coz. but who knows. calling it mini albums, i hope avex stay true to that. the only thing i want to see being on the new album are the 4 making ofs from the minis.

and all i hope for is just ONE more DAI song..one more would make the album amazing. DAI gives some of the best songs. Would like Kazuhiro Hara too :D

Right know I'm more curious to know what are the goods that come in the limited version and who are the directors of the PVs than knowing the tracklist, it's quite rare for Ayu to disapoint me musically speaking, so I'm not too worried with the tracklist.

Bring me Kouki Tange, Hideaki Sunaga and Tetsuo Inoue PVs again!!

I'd also like to see more Wataru Takeishi :-)

Even though sweet scar was simple, it was very well done imo. More chances for him to direct would be nice. :-)

At first someone said it was 14 tracks, but the website was updated with 15.
and all that was said was new original studio album.

CDJapan says 14, the official site says 15.

No one is too sure how many new songs are on the album.

I wonder if its 14 and the 15th is a bonus song?

what the hell is the fifth release gonna be, then? some kind of epic box set of DVD/CD remastering proportions? ... i wouldn't say no to a full on remade ASFXX, but i find that to be a pretty cheapie fifth and final installment of this project.

I wonder if the 5th release will be A BEST 3 now. I really expected a full album to be the last release just to build up momentum for it... However, I genuinely expect A BEST 3 at this point.

I'm really excited for this. There are a few things I hope she does on this album:

1. It would be awesome if we had 10 new songs and 4 interludes, like GUILTY, NEXT LEVEL... I actually miss that structure to her albums a bit. So I'll be very happy if we get four interludes this time around.

2. So far, the songs seem to be very close to Ayu's music from 2004-2009. I'm hoping we get something along the lines of this on the new album. The good Ayu stuff, but with some awesome rock/dance tracks like Wake me up and slower, more introspective songs like Sweet scar.

3. I DESPERATELY hope they do something to promote this. I can really see her pulling out a record like Secret or GUILTY or NL if she just puts the show on here.

4. I DESPERATELY hope the cover is creative. And by "creative" I mean I hope it's better than PQ, Ls, RnRC, etc. I'm tired of these boring pictures with simple text on them like the last few albums have had. So, it would be REALLY awesome if we got a cover like (miss)understood or Secret or GUILTY or MY STORY or I am... or Duty. Something that makes us go, "Oh... this is going to be a piece of work..." :)

the most expensive package won't even compare to PQ and rnrc's epic box sets :(

Depends on how heavy the good(s) is/are. If it's something light that can easily slip into a similar size packaging to what they were already planning to use then they won't charge us more. But if it's heavy or requires a (significantly) larger box then there's a chance they will.

People, don't be afraid about songs from the minis. When Ayu announces an album with songs from singles, she always announces that songs before the entire tracklist, and this time we have nothing (it was the same with Party Queen). Just look the threads from other albums (Love songs, Rock'n'roll Circus...) and you'll see

Ayu please please please release another Party Queen like album. (besides the album cover) I love that album from start to end. Party Queen's a freaking masterpiece.

I love the concept of Party Queen as a whole, but break it down and then there are only a couple of tracks that I consider truly amazing/memorable when compared to Ayu's other songs. Today is the first time since June 21st (according to iTunes) that I've listened to this album all the way through. It didn't give me the same "WOW!" feeling I have when I re-listen to her older albums after a few months distance.

I find every track unique. My favorite part about that album is the jazz session (too flawless). I think everything about Party Queen era is original and new <3 At first it wasn't much of a "wow" for me as well, but after listening to it a few times I just fell in love with it.

I don't think it will be experimental. All the songs on the minis are very, very safe.

They should be an indication of what will actually appear. Though, one could argue that we did receive how beautiful you are, and it was not a true indication of Party Queen at all. XD

if anything, everything she has been doing is VERY ayumi... so I'm hoping the album will be more very ayumi.

So true. According to minis we would have hints on how the album will be. But they're minis and not singles in disguise, so I think this album will be a surprise. Well I hope for that :D PQ was a surprise for me.

Btw I was tempted to preorder the limited edition, but I wasn't sure about goodies.
If they're glasses/mugs again.. no thanks. I own the two PQ glasses and they're cute but c'mon avex you should be more creative sometimes :laugh.

Nah, he just needed time to find his style. His photography over the last 3 or 4 years is incredible. Before that he was pretty...basic and not daring enough yet, he played it safe.

I like the RAINBOW cover. :) And my only problem with NL is the coloured jewel cases.


I don't think any of her album covers are that impressive though (sans mini album FIVE, which I adore). I prefer a lot of her single covers to her album ones. Eg: fairyland, INSPIRE, glitter/fated, L, Mirrorcle World and hbya are all gorgeous.

I want a fancy cover. It can be trashy, but still I want something fancy.

I want a sophisticated cover like secret, but with less obvious photoshop.

A cover like RAINBOW's would be awesome, for me this cover is the most interesting of all her albuns :luv2
