I've looked at joining her fan club, but doing it through a third party would cost me around £100, a lot of money just to possibly be given an opportunity to buy tickets, which could still be bad seats.

I bought tickets for the FEEL tour for 35000 yen each. It was an arena seat. Not that far from the middle of the cat walk. On the picture it would be the E area. Bought the tickets from this website: http://www.ticket.co.jp/

The digipak with the cut out cover if limited. After that it will be a normal CD case.

I think you have one week after you get the mail. The results will be up on May 19th. You can try to win tickets for every date you want but if you win you have to pay them.

I didn't like the way it was written, and they also compared her to Madonna and stated that genic had already leaked. I got really excited for half a second and then was like...wait, no way. lol

Yeah, comparisons are terrible. I understand they are trying to stress the calibre of the artist, but you can say "mega pop star" or something to that effect. Any comparison to Britney Spears is just sad, she can't really sing and she doesn't even really dance anymore. She is not near the fitness level of Namie.

I also find these comparisons terrible, but I don't judge people anymore, it's easier for them to associate how big one artist is in their country, if their career is more about image, singing, dancing, or even being controversial or not... If they grow interested of the artist they will eventually grow out of this comparison :shrug I saw an article once comparing Kuu to Xtina, and if you take it deep it's dumb cause Xtina came out of a TV program and started very young and popular, while Kuu came from auditions and gained success later... But the comparison, I guess, is towards the changes on pop, sexy and romantic styles/images that other singers don't usually do. Hot Stuff and Dirrty are pretty comparable imo, so are show girl and Ain't No Other Man and so on...

I remember back in the day Utada was compared to Britney, and all I could say was "wut". The only comparison that makes sense to me is Kuu and Christina.

I think it's silly to compare artists, but I can understand why the general population does it. If you have an artist like Namie that isn't familiar to American people (generally), you compare her to somebody that everyone has heard about in terms of fame.

It's still a silly thing to do when they don't have anything else in common, except for being singers.

Utada compared herself to Mariah Carey before so I'm guessing she's fine with being compared.

Hmmm... I'll try it again, I've never had this issue with any other region 3 DVD so I'm sort of at a loss. I ended up lining DVD cases against the bottom of my TV so they covered the subs, it's just too distracting for me otherwise.

So, I just watched my first Namie live ever: LIVE STYLE 2014. I have to say she sounds far better live than Ayu, but I was extremely disappointed that she did only one outfit change in the entire first hour of the concert. I was also hoping that she would wear the dress from the re-made PV of CAN YOU CELEBRATE?. I was super surprised to see her in a black dress after that intermission video... just didn't seem to flow well from the video. But overall, it was a lot of fun to watch. She's definitely more entertaining on stage, but I think it's less of an actual show compared to Ayu's lives. I haven't seen a Koda live yet, but I'm somewhat hoping it's a mix of the two.

That just reminded me. I will forever hold a grudge against that video. After Vidal Sassoon did the pvs for 60s70s80s, and they released the commercial for Do Me More with that "show girl" theme, I expected the music video to be an extended version of that, and we ended up getting an absolutely horrible video. horrible horrible horrible choreography which probably took 20 minutes to throw together, some weird mixture between snow white and alice in wonderland, pole dancing, those weird furry looking unicorn/heart dancers in the background and a "rose bush maze" that was pretty much filmed entirely in the same exact 10 foot long hallway, but was filmed in different angles to make it look like it was in different places.

Do Me More is seriously one of her best tracks ever. I fall in love with it all over again every time I go a while without listening to it and it randomly pops up on shuffle. That intro...her rap breakdown... I can't :tired

This lmao. Do Me More was one of the first Namie PV's I've ever watched so that video has a nostalgic place in my heart. The unicorn pole dancers are amazing though lmao and I LOVED Namie's outfit with that tiny white hat and that gorgeous dress.

Yeah, but imagine seeing the vidal sassoon commercial first which was extremely high quality, and then seeing the music video. It was a letdown. I mean, not paying attention to the commercials, the pv is just another old namie music video. But vidal sassoon directed the videos for New Look, Rock Steady and What a feeling. The commercials for their hair products then were exerts/shots from the music video. So of course when a new namie amuro vidal sassoon commercial came out featuring a new song, we all imagined it was using stuff from the music video.

Does anyone remember the commercial that used Copy That before the album was released? She was walking on a catwalk towards the camera, I don't remember if it was a VS commercial or another brand, but I think there was a similar let down when it turned out it was just a commercial and not an actual PV.
