Anime News Network - Singer Daigo Stars In Monster Hunter X Game Ad
Singer and BREAKERZ band member DAIGO is starring in a 30-second ad for CAPCOM's upcoming Monster Hunter X (pronounced Cross) game for the Nintendo 3DS. CAPCOM plans to release the game in Japan on November 28. In a longer video, DAIGO offers his thoughts on the game. DAIGO considers the Monster Hunter series his favourite and was excited to star in the commercial. He finds the hunting techniques "flashy" and "totally awesome" and thinks they will appeal to both Monster Hunter veterans and newbies. In particular, he loves riding monsters and using them as platforms to jump from for aerial attacks. I hope this will not discourage the guys from continuing to release more material in the near future as I support them for their music , and not how much of their material they sell . |

I have to agree - nearly all Johnny's groups are unstoppable for #1, and Dreams Come True also has been running hot recently, even though it was not a new release. Last week may have been the stiffest competition for albums this summer, led by V6 (a Johnny's group), and two other artists releasing new best albums, not to mention Dreams Come True on their third week running (remember how Southern All Stars disrupted miwa, Ayu and Ayaka sales on SAS' second and third weeks?). And the CD+DVD editions not cheap...that kind of backfires a bit. :headache Have to agree - BREAKERZ cannot stop - don't let this album go down on them! |

For this year's FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri which coincided with the release of their comeback album 0-ZERO- , they performed WE GO . ARAMA! JAPAN - DAIGO to release a dictionary of his unique acronyms "Dictionary of Daigo"
BREAKERZ’s DAIGO, known for using acronyms “DAI語 / DAIGO”, on variety shows and press conferences, will be releasing a dictionary book. The Dictionary of DAIGO which contains 100 selected DAI語 / DAIGO will be released on August 19. The book will also contain brief commentaries on how he came up with the acronyms, under what circumstances and with what kinds of feelings. Readers can look forward to laughing and enjoying word play while reading the collection. Previously, actress Kitagawa Keiko has imitated DAIGO’s use of abbreviations when asked about her relationship with the singer, by hinting she is “IH. I’m Happy.” DAIGO was also chosen as the charity marathon runner for NTV’s ’24-Hour Television’ When he was previously asked if he agreed to run, DAIGO replied, “HM. Hashiri (H) masu (M).” (I will run).
