^you only said its an a-side so its has to have an PV, on which I stated that an a-side does not make a PV (Hence Love Story was also a double a-side, but only one had a PV). My initial question was, if there even is a PV, because I never checked, because I never actively watch PVs anymore.

That's how I felt with _genic. So many kinda-iffy looking PV's (besides Golden Touch which was just adorable.) when she could have chosen one or two other songs and made a really good solid music video. I mean, how many PV's did _genic have? Stranger. Golden Touch. Fashionista. Birthday. B Who I Want 2 B. Anything. (am I missing any?)

Like.... half the album had PV's :laugh and it's not like they were bad, they just could've been done much better had they had more time to focus on one or two really good PV's rather than a shuffleboard worth of them.

That is true. I completely forgot it was a brand new spankin album--which in itself was very exciting at the time. To be honest, I hope she continues to do that. It's fun getting singles and then a whole new album with no idea what you're gonna get. It's a Namie Christmas :D (she's totally spoiled me). But that's completely off topic. I digress. It's not like they didn't put effort into those PV's-- I.E the cuteness/originality of GT, the cool chrome app for Anything that took over your computer, the birthday version of Birthday that was just released-- but still... they were just... I don't know... boring? Hmm. :/ Now that I think more about it, it was probably the songs themselves that were boring, or at least not to my personal taste. (Besides Golden Touch. That song is too fun.)

I dunno, the outfits and the stage makes it seem like the concert budget for this year is less than previous years. Lucky that this will be my first Namie concert and that I'm going regardless of the lesser budget and not-so-great setlist. But I guess that means I will have to go to next years as well.

I didn't like Fighter when the previews first came out, but omg I can't stop repeating it. I thought the talking/rap part was so weird, but I can not stop listening :luv2

That is not Rem. I thought so too, but the face has like 4 to 6 eyes. Rem looks pretty human with hair and a mouth. I think the two are either special designed death gods or some of those you see in the few manga-spreads that depict the other gods.

Fighter is goooddd, but as usual ( no offense to fans) I still found it is missing something from her expression, like the whole time she had this "sad" "melancholy" face like in dear Diary PV but that is a ballad so ok, yeah It would add the "umph" if there got different expression like fierce ans stuffs to pair with the beast <3

Wasn't too excited at first knowing it would be another engrish song, but I really like Fighter. The BGM is amazing. Wonder if Zedd did the music again. I don't think hes all that great as a Western DJ but hes produced some great songs with Namie.

I love the PVs. I love that Namie is doing these huge videos as though it were still the early 00s. I wish Ayu and Kuu would do something grand with a PV for once in a long, long time. I feel like Ayu's PVs are especially boring... same predictable mess: She stands around, lips the words, makes dramatic gestures. I'm glad Namie and Utada are making memories of their PVs.

^because Utadas Hanataba PV was grand and not just her sitting around. Not every song demands a grand PV, or even allows it. And sometimes it does not fit the whole concept. tbqh, as a huge Namie fan, I found both PVs medicore at best and I'm over the CGI stuff. It was okay in this case, cause they are title tracks for two CGI-movies and they fit her overall style of being "cool", but something simple like Love Story would be okay for me too.
That said, Namie rarely has awsome PVs and I stopped demanding them years ago. A good choreo is all i need.

I feel kinda the same. Those CGI PVs feels less personal to me... Because Ayu's PVs are pretty boring indeed but I feel like she put some effort and time to really think about them and express how she feels about the song. Namie's PVs feels for me like it was created and produced by her team and she have no attach to it... But the CGI is pretty impressive for its quality!

^^ To be honest, I don't really know how attached I want Namie for a dance PV. I didn't see Ayu as that attached for her faster songs. Lady Dynamite comes to mind right now and I just didn't like the way she acted. It's just so dramatic like her concerts.

Higashi Hiroaki didn't direct Dance In The Rain but he did directed some of Kuu's other PVs like Slow , Megumi no Hito , Poppin’love cocktail , BE MY BABY , So Nice
