Does anyone know if applying for one ticket rather than two increases chances for better seats? Or vice versa? I am wondering what to do when the lottery comes around, it will be my first time using it.

^In my experience it's been pretty random regardless of the amount I buy. Some years I just have better luck than others.

I completely agree. The tour announcement (or at least that lengthy description and those ridiculous CM spots) should have waited until they at least had dates. It feels like they're trying to get people pumped up, but where are the concert goers supposed to channel that energy and excitement? They don't know the dates, they can't start making plans, they don't even fucking know what month the tour is due to start in or where

And I wonder where the delay today is coming from. Are they waiting for last minute confirmation from some of the venues? ISTG if they've been hyping up the release time/date of the first leg of the tour WITHOUT having that information in hand then they're fucking fools who set themselves up for failure. And if it's something more minor like, they didn't have a staff person around to update the fucking website, then they look even more ridiculous.

When I applied for CdM Tour I picked the two dates in Saitama and I won both dates with really good seats!

It was the same for me. Got C and B blocks in Yoyogi. The second day I was a few m away from the center stage.

Stupid question: can you apply for two dates and only go to one? I guess not since it's a lottery, but I'm scared I won't get tickets if I only apply to one date...

^ If you apply for two dates and win both of them you will have to pay for every ticket you won though, if you don't, your chances to win tickets for further tours will be reduced. Well that's what was said by TA but i don't know to what extent it is true.

Does the fact the there are Hall venues means that we will get a cheaper looking tour?

^ We don't know that because she never did Halls Tour before. But Koda Kumi did a Hall Tour and it was not cheap looking at all... I think she can do the same stuff that she do in Arenas like acrobats, props (like the CdM elefant), stage elevators...

Yeah, I have no idea. I'm trying to figure that out right now. They sent me an email saying when overseas fans can participate in the lottery, which should be right now, but the link they gave me is only for Japan residents. lol

Hi, hope someone could help me..

I am trying to reserve a ticket by the official Livepocket system. The system requires me to input my TeamAyu account number and my date-of-birth as the password. However, I tried several times and the system show "ID or whether the input of the password is wrong, and has expired member (E00202404)" on top of the page...

Can anyone tell me what happened? I have checked that my membership is valid for this lottery, and this made me mad as the deadline is approaching...

The password is the date of birth you entered in when you signed up for TA. Look at the instructions above the form carefullly for the exact format. If you do that it will work!

I hope she will announ ce special live in January or so, that will be enough time to book flight and such altough flight will be a bit more expensive. Best time here to book Japan flights for spring is fall, Lufthansa and ANA have good offers then... this week more and more sucks <.< (I hade a custumer yesterday that felt the stairs and broke her leg....)

Not knowing exact tour dates makes it very hard for overseas fans who need to book plane tickets in advance.

I just got my membership again with Team Ayu and missed the deadline for the second round of tickets by 1 day. I think I am going to cry x'D this might be my only chance to see her in the near future and I missed it...

Now I'm confused... So the tour ends in February??? Didn't she mention it would end on April/Spring???? I was planning to go during April :(( Please let this tour go till April, Ayuuu

This is so upsetting, We are not even sure if this is the anniversary tour. I fear it is just another Avex trick to make people pay thinking it is the anniversary tour, then they announce the anniversary at the end of this tour.

I wonder if it is the 20th anniversary tour and the chapters are chapters of Ayu's career? Like with chapter one being years 1998-2004 or something...

Well, it's always been a "lead up" to the anniversary. But we are uncertain what will happen during the actual anniversary.

I think given how Just the beginning's CDL version went, it will probably be mostly old performance for the 'new' generation and a few unperformed tracks here and there. I liked it the first few times she did the 'recycle' angle, but it's not really as interesting as it was initially. I guess partially because she isn't choosing different performances to recreate.

I don't mind if she recreates "M" huge dress forever <3 I really would love to see her recreating "A song for xx" from A MUSEUM.

Out of curiosity, how do the general public get a hold of a ticket to Ayu's concerts? Is there a lottery for them too? I wasn't sure if Japan did all their concert tickets via lottery or if you can buy them through a site like Ticketmaster. (I think the lottery is something we should start adopting over here tbh)

There isn't a company like Ticketmaster in Japan that has a monopoly on tickets, but you can buy them through convenience stores (Family Mart, LAWSON, 7-11, etc.) You can't choose your seats, they're assigned at random as far as I can tell. You'll know ahead of time what day/time the tickets go on sale and then you either reserve the tickets online then go to the store to have them printed or you can use the kiosks they have in store to buy the tickets...if that makes sense, lol

People complaining in this thread about being supposedly "screwed over" for the 2nd lottery, have absolutely no sympathy for. If you are prepared to pay for airfares and accommodation to go and see Ayu, the ~$50USD to pay for an annual TA membership is such a small fraction of your costs to go to Japan.

It is ludicrous people feel 'burnt' when you have to remind yourself that the 'international fanbase' still makes up for a minute portion of revenue for avex, Ayu and the wider JPop industry. Be glad Ayu is one of the select few JPop artists that even have an international fanclub.

Maybe they'll do special 20th anniversary ayupans ?

Well it's not for sure that each set of dates will have different content. She just mentioned that the separation of a single tour into various parts reminded her of concert tour 2000s vol 1 & 2.

So themes for each part are still just speculation

I'm daydreaming. I like concert tour 2000 because it is not crazily done, and she focuses on singing more than overly performing.

It kinda sounds like she hasn't been in the studio for a while so maybe no new album for quite some time. Though I guess a compilation could always come out with a new song or two in the meantime.

This might have an opposite effect unfortunately. People might still be disappointed with the new music, and the fact that they had to wait so long for the new album will likely make the disappointment even worse
