I'm pretty sure she has money to shoot MVs she just doesn't have as much money for them anymore and won't be able to release another album with MV for every song like second session, Kingdom or JAPONSEQUE, however, clearly W FACE MV had a good budget. CG effects look good even in HQ. W FACE MVs could have been better if she decided to go with less is more.

I'm glad that I'm not the only person who actually likes this song. lol

I agree that W FACE PV itself is the best out of the lot . Watching it in HQ is a real treat & the LQ in a way don't do justice to the PV to a certain extent

I rather Kuu made 2 solid looking PVs instead of 6 PVs with the budget of 2 PVs

Also I loved BUT . I'm surprised not a lot of her core fanbase like it . The PV is still 1 that gets me up to now

Hey guys, went to the Osaka show on Saturday so thought I'd give a little review if anyone's interested! This was my first Kumi concert so I was really excited but nervous, as I'm not totally familiar with her work pre Deja Vu, especially ballads. But, this concert blew me away! Many people (me included), questioned Ultraviolet as the opener but it worked so well. Girl can dance so god damn well lol. Then it transitioned into Pop Diva and the crowd got soooo hyped it was great. Kinda fell a bit in the Winner Girls/Hurricane/Money in my bag medley. But my god she took it to the top with Insane. This was definitely one of the highlights of the entire show. I may be biased because it's my favourite track from both of the W Face albums. She was standing behind a black net singing and she suddenly jumped up and the net was going up and she was laying down inside it, then the chorus came and she twisted her upper body and came out like a cocoon and did the most amazing stunts I've ever seen. I didn't think it would be possible to stand after spinning that fast �� When Bassline came on it was more chill after the drama of Insane. Her and 4 dancers stand wearing big sun hats and holding mic stands. Nice performance but I felt like the crowd wasn't feeling it much.
Then a projector screen came down in front of the stage and started to show images of stars and galaxies and we all thought it was an interlude but she was behind the screen sitting on a swing up on the air singing Damn Real. Very enjoyable.

The ballad section started with Promise You, which I was very thankful for, great song. Her voice was flawless here. The rest of the ballad section wasn't really for me but still enjoyable. She did an MC after and talked a lot about how much she missed Osaka and mocked the Osaka dialect a lot haha, she's really funny.
She then asked everyone to take their seats while she belted out Heartless which was AMAZING. She's got some serious pipes guys. Then there was break and she sent the dancers out into the crowd to pick 2 people to go on stage, one guy and one girl for Suki deshite. Really not a fan of the song but was cute to see Kuu interacting with the fans so closely. The 3 of them sat in a little tea cup which moved around the stage and twirled.

After 2/3 more ballads, the section from Hotel~ Loaded came on and got the crowd so energetic. Was great to hear all these party songs live. Loaded was a favourite. Main show ended with What's Up and it works really well here. As someone mentioned before, Poppin Love Cocktail won the vote for the encore. All the Japanese were crazy for it. Rest of the encore was standard. There was another MC where she answered questions from people in the crowd and again she had everyone in stitches laughing! She talked about her son and how he calls all Kuu fans "Mama's friends", super cute. About the stage, there was a big triangle screen that had an elevator in it for Kuu to go up and down and the band were half hidden behind the triangle. Sorry if this post is really long but I hope some of you guys can enjoy my little recap :)

Haha And I can tell from all her LOADED & PLC performances that fans still love both songs, so no wonder she keeps performing them.

I would like to share about the show at Hiroshima on 19/5. This is my second time to attend her tour, previous one is Bon Voyage that is also hall tour. This time i got lucky to have a better randoming seat, center and close due to smaller hall. Alternative songs we got here were On my way, Ai no uta, Popping love cocktail and butterfly. Lucky guests were two girls who tumbled and cried throughout the song.

What I like is her dancing even it is noticeable that she is easily tired and sing a few verses on pre record in dance songs. However, she is still queen of live in Ballads, Heartless with pure piano is magical. Aerobatic in Insane is awesome, not new but it is my first time seeing with my eyes not dvd.

I was a bit disappointed she didn't sing W Face in live and less creativity compared with her last tours.

No. There are a couple of good tracks on Outside (Insane and Bassline) that I still listen to almost on a daily basis, but I can't stand a single track on Inside. :(

I like Kumi's lyrics better, they sound much more interesting to me and have more weight to them. Just like with CWGB Kelly's lyrics were just another break up song and Kumi put much more meaning into her version.

This might be due to the fact that the budget for her tours is smaller now or since she took inspiration for this tour from Beyonce. Just out of curiosity I've watched a few parts of her recent tour and I gotta say her tours are more about dancing rather than kind of cool stuff Kumi is doing or used to do during her tours.

Totally! That's why I get angry when someone says she's not writing her own lyrics and just translating. Well she might keep some verses and English but oh hell that's a completly different take on the song. Same for CWGB as you said, also AT THE WEEKEND, which was "I don't wanna work at the weekend", and probably many many others.
