Fanmade header probably. A fan blacked out/colored away the other people and used it and bam, they put it as her header. I think they even 'asked' fans on Twitter about headers.

Personally I find that nice from Ayu. Instead of choosing for a shallow reason, she's using them because someone did them for her. Just like a mother would pin her child's drawing somewhere where everyone could see it.

We all start from somewhere, but if we all were laughed at like that, we would be quitting before getting anywhere with our skills. I was taught the basics of Adobe programs as I'm a graphic designer, so I have major respect for people who were or currently are self-taught!

it's still ugly, makes her social media look unpolished and that's a fact. there's probably a lot of beautiful art out there with the 20th anniversary theme.

^If it can be mystaken by a professional work, this generate two problems:

1) Your everyday not specially talented fan won't feel as special. Picking up a mediocre art reiforces the whole "it could me be" feeling.

2) A professional, or someone that could be a professional, is most likely to have issues with Ayu using their work for free.

The headliner looks great and I think there’s meaning to it. The black dress, the black background symbolizes mourning, the flowers hope and the title power of music passion. It all references all the struggles she’s enduring with her health. It’s an interesting headliner, hope the dvd covers(if we get one ) would be this interesting.

I don't really mind since it's not like anyone takes Ayu seriously anymore anyway in the mainstream/general public's eye.

I wish that whoever made this put this much thought into it, but I don’t think that it’s meant to be read into. She hardly has anything that isn’t a glamour shot in her releases (which is okay) anymore

It doesn't look good but I don't go on Ayu's twitter unless she posts something important. So it won't really effect me. I'm sure she will choose a new one not too long from now anyway.:laugh

it all just depends on how much one thinks that Ayu should pander to her fans in that respect. To me, I don't care if she uses fan made banners, etc. I would prefer to see more professional looking media. There are other ways to interact with fans, imo.

To be honest i'd rather her using fanmade shit on her social media, than the actual promo stuff. Like concert logos. lol

On the other hand, japanese "pro" people tend to do stuff that usually looks like someone threw everything together in 2 minutes, especially when it comes to graphical part of the stuff. At least in Ayu's case.
