She did. There was no unperformed track in this CDL.

I agree, I can forgive off-key moments as long as there's no screaming. I thought this day would never come. Her actually singing made a huge difference. I tried watching her recent shows, but I couldn't enjoy them at all, it was like a torture and I deleted them and was about to give up on her. There's no guarantee she will keep singing like that, but at least there's hope...

I got ripped to shreds for making a similar comment in Kuu’s thread once upon a time but there have been studies that show pregnancy hormones can have demonstrable effects on vocal cords............obviously she’s trying to change the way she controls her voice but so there could be lots going on here, just thought I’d throw that in for good measure

You're right, I confess I lost track of her last tour performances as I got less interested in them...
But yeah, I was mostly thinking about SAKURA.

Exactly! There's still a lot of room for improvement. But this make me hope for more.

Yep, they definitely change how you sing. I remember a comment from Pat Benatar that she recorded two albums while she was pregnant because suddenly her range became even better while pregnant.

KLJames 2nd January 2020 05:18 PM

seriously, am i the only one hate the new version of "identity"?
that song so great but i really dunno what she doing there, whip dance with drag queen for her female dancers??

shuya, plz come back!!!! 10 years gone, that performance from NL tour still ROCK!!!

What? Did anyone ever rip the TeamAyu ver. DVD? I need to see/hear this!

@KLJames I really liked it but I'm not the biggest fan of Hikaru. I don't really mind him that much, though and I'm glad she performed it again.

A female friend of mine who is a singer told me once how much hormones can affect one's ability to sing, and how women can find a harder time in sounding consistent considering periods and such.

I watched the concert last night. it was really great! not sure if I like the circle stage though but I enjoyed watching it.

kyo_arayuru 3rd January 2020 03:47 AM

where i can find photos from the show en good quality?

kendelle 3rd January 2020 10:33 AM

I finally finished watching it. What a treasure of a concert! I love that she did SAKURA again, it really bought me back to the first concerts I attended in 2015 hehe

This was a hell of a show, Ayu just oozes charisma through the screen. She must have been so tired and nervous about announcing her baby but she's such a professional throughout. It's why I admire her so much :)

I can’t stop thinking about this show.

Intentional or not, I love that the show has an air of pro-LGBTQ sentimentality to it - from the rainbows, to song choices(how beautiful you are!!!), and that epic outro with Love Song.

I feel this is the first show in a long time that truly feels inspired. It’s quite obvious seeing that Las Vegas show really inspired her and the team to create a show on that kind of level(it even has the circle stage like most LV shows).

In some ways, I wish that this was what Power of A^3 was, as this felt more like a celebration of her works up to this point than that show did.

I hope we get a DVD of this show.

AyuGAME 4th January 2020 04:12 AM

Oh wow those acapella is so nice.
She usually can sings batter in acapella. I believe she can hear herself more clearly.

The FC is asking members to fill out a survey about the ticketing system.
You can fill it out even if you didn’t attend the show.
It’s open until January 14th.

I’m happy they are asking for feedback, there is even a question asking if you want them to stick with the dynamic ticketing system.

This is really cool, however, when they ask to explain why you like this system or not, the maximum character limit is 200. I have written down like a quick 4-lines explanation but I had written 342 character already, nothing can be said in 200 characters...

EndOfTheWorld 11th January 2020 12:56 AM

She will probably sound even better once they improve the audio.:yes
I wonder if Ayu's fall/collapse will ever be edited out.:think
After watching the show I thought it was one of her best shows in quite some time! Big improvement with her vocals. Not a big fan of Happening here though. I really enjoyed the SAKURA performance, that was my favorite moment.:luv2
Also, the Eurobeat remixes was such an awesome surprise. I hope she does something similar in the future.

Yes, it reminds me of the old 180 character limit on twitter. Perhaps try to shorten it in a bullet point style? I was able to fit my 2 biggest thoughts: "lottery system gives everyone a fair chance" and "it is unfair that people pay different prices in the same area"

The public was sitting all the time, Ayu didn't leave the stage or shake anyone's hands or talk directly to anyone. It all lasted about 10 minutes.

That sounds kind of bizarre. Why would Max ever tweet that?

It looks like on December 30th, Max was on Twitter for hours talking to people about Komuro.

https://twitter.com/maxmatsuuratwit/...45051861381120

Seems it all started because Max was talking about how he wants Komuro to write songs but there have been no hits for years. I think someone did wonder about if he avoided Ayu for some reason but Max didn't say that or if he did, it was deleted.

https://gachi-spo.com/art-sports/18823.html

Was it this? It seems like people thought it was a stretch. Did he ask Komuro to write a song for the release of the book or what?

ExodusUK 26th February 2020 11:39 PM

What a load of crap..TK can't make "hits" now because he had to retire after being exposed.

TK might be a great musician, but he is a disgusting asshole and if I were Ayu I wouldn't want to work with a man who treated KEIKO aka his wife like that. She definitely didn't deserve this.

I had the exact same reaction when I heard about how he cheated on his sick wife...it’s pretty disgusting. But we’ve known he’s kind of a scumbag for a long time..I think it’s been like 10 years since he was convicted of trying to sell the rights to his music to someone when he no longer owned any of it because he owed money to his ex wife. Also I seem to remember Namie saying in an interview once she became uncomfortable working with him after a while, she didn’t really say why, but I guess she either got over it or pushed herself to work with him one last time on HOw do you feel now. He does happen to be a good song writer (l Love almost everything on Ayu’s Love Songs album)...

Which is why this ^ performance was so shocking. It was so bad and cringey...he kind of looked drunk/high tbh. Wasn’t expecting much from Ayu vocally bc CDL 2015-16 didn’t start off too great anyway, but TK is a good pianist, so it just made it even worse bc not only was Ayu off key, the freaking KEYBOARD was off key and out of time.

That's true. It is basically known since the 90's that he is an asshole and after what he did to Kahala Tomomi back then it isn't strange at all that Namie said that.

I don’t know who Kahala Tomomi is, but given his track record...as far as I know, Namie never went into details of why she stopped working with him, I think the “official”reason was creative difference or lack of direction for her vision or something. Who knows what, but I’ve always suspected it had something to do with his creepiness but it could have been anything, he kind of just always had the “slimeball look”, if that makes any sense, he just looked like a creep. But as far as I’m aware, Namie doesn’t like to talk about such things and I don’t think she’s ever made any negative accusations about anyone, including TK...

I love how shallow people quickly get and judge a person when they barely know one side of the story...We know nothing about their relationship nor the circumstances that led to the events.

Chibi-Chan 2nd March 2020 05:45 PM

^you have to be a very shallow person for thinking it is ok to fuck your sick wife's nurse after she had a stroke and whom you parked at her parents so that you have her out of the way to fuck said nurse. Either this behaviour is acceptable to you or it isn't.

Kahala Tomomi was pretty famous in the mid 90's and Komuro produced her. When Tomomi was still in school and just a B idol, she was discovered by Komuro and they also dated for quite a while and their relationship basically made it in every tabloid. There were accusations of Komuro getting her into drugs, making her taking drugs with him and stuff like that, and also how Komuro cheated on her. Some people even say that Komuro lost interest in her when she wasn't selling as many CDs anymore as she used to. When they broke up, her career was finally over and avex only released one best of and then dropped her. It was pretty obvious that after Komuro broke up with her, nobody at avex wanted to work with her anymore, so she went to Warner but was never able to be as successfull as she used to be. Also it seems this whole thing with Komuro realle broke her, since she attempted suicide.

Andrenekoi 2nd March 2020 08:25 PM

I'm not in here to doubt TK is a horrible human being... The Tomomi Kahala rumour is creepy as fuck. But we really don't know anything about his marriage to Keiko or even if it wasn't just a facade marriage kept just for keeping their public image in check.

Whatever it was, it's pretty bad that dating the nurse became something public, as this is a public humilliation to Keiko... But there's no way to know what was the real state of their relationship at that point...

Interesting point, and I’m always for hearing both sides in a situation, the more info the better. However. I don’t know how common these sham marriages are or the state of their relationship, but I think we’re operating under the assumption it’s a real marriage/relationship, so what he did is really disgusting, and as far as I could tell, he said it’s true, or at least hasn't denied it. Plus, doing it with her nurse does suggest he is still involved in Keiko’s life, so it’s still pretty messed up whether they’re still married or not in my opinion. If it were not true, wouldn’t he try to save what little is left of his reputation? It’s true that we dont know all the details, but what we DO know is pretty bad and he hasn’t denied it.

This is by far my least favorite performance of her ever - everything was just sooo off and wrong!

I remember watching that performance and wondering what TK was playing on the keyboard as it was completely off from the song. Thought it was an improvisation gone wrong

tokyoxjapanxfan 3rd March 2020 02:29 PM

Kahara Tomomi’s her stage name, which he had her use to have the same initials as him.

And actually she released music on ORUMOK Records, which is Komuro backwards... Their relationship was completely woven into her Cinderella story, and I think at one time he may have liked her, but I don’t think it was as ever as deep as she thought, and their breakup led her down a really bad spiral. As he already got her into drugs, she fell into that more, and missed performances and recordings, and eventually her labels dropped her and she went to rehab. She’s better now, and doing well. :)

But basically, she was his protege... until she wasn’t.

I’ve heard terrible rumors about them though. Where he’d get her high and parade her around in her disheveled state.

I came here thinking there was a release of the cdl and I was served with juicy gossips about TK ... I did enjoy the dramatic posts thought.

Same, didn't he ended his carreer because he was cheating with someone else or my brain made up? :think

SunshineSlayer 3rd March 2020 10:01 PM

TK clearly is an asshole in his personal life. It would be one thing if it was just one incidence, but basically, since the 90s there have been tons of issues. Awful human being, but phenomenal producer and musician. It so often seems in creative fields that the most talented people are also the biggest jerks.

Chris85 4th March 2020 03:13 AM

Nothing will change that he composed a ton of amazing songs.

It's not just creative fields. The people with power over the livelihood of others can get away with being as awful as they want because they know others can't cross them without ruining their own lives/careers. Big CEOs, the mega-rich, royalty. Of course they're not all awful, but the ones that are awful are free to be as bad as they want.

rainbow_smile 6th March 2020 09:36 AM

^ this is exactly why I have a problem with the whole "horrible personality doesn't erase talent/impact/art:" mentality: this way of thinking gives such people a platform to be bad

Chibi-Chan 6th March 2020 09:56 AM

^definitely agree

aliceshields 6th March 2020 03:05 PM

Yeah, agreed!

kaled kalil 6th March 2020 05:14 PM

I don't know if I agree with this, because people like to cope with this movement until their "fave" is doing something bad as well, and you can see how many excuses people can come with. Mariah Carey was accused to be a predator, even with Ayumi we saw some random rumors with her dating her dancer, but no one talks about because it's their divas and YES QWEEN GET THAT YOUNG D.

I understand that there are levels to everything, and I'm not saying TK is a good person (I don't even like much of his works since most of them are very dated to today's standards), but people like to believe in things they like to believe. And we're basically taking about him being unfaithful, which I think most people here knows a person who cheated in their relationship in your personal life.

Katsuyuki012 6th March 2020 05:39 PM

The thing with Ayu and Pey was talked about a lot and she definitely got criticism for it.

surrealA 6th March 2020 08:02 PM

-Marionette -prelude-
-the clip featuring the TROUBLE tour excerpts
-how beautiful you are
-encore (as in people waiting and the Ayu A part)
-teens "acoustic ver."
-MC
-until that Day…

This is the setlist. They fixed the sound and obviousy filtered her vocals. It sounds AMAZING! They used a different angle during snowy kiss but you could still see the fall, though not as obvious. They also showed the little tribute to Kenji Murata, to whom she seemingly dedicated her SAKURA performance. Here: http://imgur.com/a/x9UDJsB

Aderianu 7th March 2020 05:36 PM

sad that until that day was cut. I don't mind hbya

Hi!
@Aderianu thanks for the links!
Does anyone have a link for the full version from Asahi TV?
I feel so blessed because I was there and in the edited version there is a Close Up of me in MY ALL! :O

Would love to see the full replay but unfortunately I don't have a Baidu account so if someone has another link I'll be very thankful!

maxikot 9th March 2020 01:07 AM

The mod asks to go back to the main topic and write anything else in the thread with such title but the user goes "but I want to go offtopic here".

I really love this countdown. They did a fantastic job with the recent rebroadcast when it comes to both the audio, angles. Right now I am just wishing for this concert to be released in any way, be it as a part of some bundle or its own release. It's just too good. While watching this rebroadcast I was shocked that after Sakura there was a tribute to one staff member? They didn't show it during the live broadcast and I was really moved seeing it now.

truehappiness 9th March 2020 02:02 AM

I think they kind of showed it on screen in a flash but otherwise it was not focused on.

maxikot 9th March 2020 02:05 AM

^ Yes, only the first 2-3 seconds : (

metropass 9th March 2020 07:36 PM

Still can’t understand why they have to crop the video into 21:9. Couldn’t they just simply reboardcast it in the original aspect ratio?

hud 9th March 2020 08:10 PM

loved the editing in the rebroadcast! just a little sad that they cut until that Day...

They could but I assume this is what ayu and her team want them to do... It's been like this for every concert release/broadcast since 2018 (except TA16 and live shows) and I guess it won't change anytime soon. I personally don't see any advantage in the format they are currently using but oh well..

Nonetheless, I'm glad we got a re-broadcast with most of the songs. She sounds so great and I really hope that we will get a release of this show, it would be such a waste if not. Or at the very least another broadcast à la PoM18 (full show, edited in DVD quality) but I don't see that happening.

If I'm not wrong, since Just the beginning all Ayu concerts are filmed and edited with that format. Nowadays, she's broadcasting edited versions of her shows at TV with some DVD treatment. Probably the cameras filmed the whole show in that format and Asahi TV just cropped the image to fit the 16:9 format, not the opposite.

No, if you compare the live version and the re-broadcast, you could clearly see the re-broadcast definitely was cropped. Actually I won’t mind they film the show in 21:9 like POM2018 and POA3, what bothered me is they cropped the video made most of the shots looks so odd.

Chris85 11th March 2020 06:47 AM

Wow, not a fan of such cropping.

hidekirby 11th March 2020 05:02 PM

I particularly like this wide format... But cropping the whole thing after filming is stupid. You film with the right format and compose the actual picture with its constraints.
