I think it's more like they want to keep the success momentum of her success, so they want to make the single so zomg awesome that it'll more or less be as successful as Kuon no Kawa, and not be another flop or whatever.

But I'm really curious what happened with the NHK Save the Future theme now. Although I guess they still have time to announce a new single by then. There's still over a month.

^Why a chinese album @_@ Her singing in chinese is a bit weird...like the Chinese version of Kuon no Kawa for example...its like her voice went up a whole octave...i dont like it. I was excited for her new single x_x

Actually, the Japanese version of Kuon went an octave down, Chi Bi is the original version. Also, she sings in that octave in the End Roll version of Kuon, in Japanese.

Her Chinese sounds more natural then her Japanese imo

But I find it weirder that xheartstation thinks she sounds weird in Chinese. I only heard one of her Chinese songs and that was the Chinese ver. of Kuon no Kawa.

I loved Chi Bi, but really didn't like Kuon no Kawa. I think alan has a lovely operatic voice. But I really didn't like the Chinese Gunjou no Tani at all. I thought it was so awkward. I think I'll agree that the Chinese singing sounds strange sometimes, but I think it's when the song is originally composed for Japanese.

I kind of hope she focuses more on Japan for a while. I mean... she just finally gained popularity and if she doesn't release something new soon it'll go down and she'll be just where she started from :(.

But I do hope a Chinese album is her side-project and comes out soon :). And hopefully it'll be more than just her Japanese songs re-sung in Chinese xD. I want new Chinese-only songs :).

yeah like xin zhan, the words just sounded like japanese, but for chi bi, it was much better

yeah, mostly it's like 3 songs on the EP, korean music doesn't really release singles either, only jpop releases like crazy @_@ (well many other music, but i just don't know them)

I like singles because it kind of tides the yearning for a new song while we wait for an album. I see it as kind of a sample of what's to come.

I don't like how it is in America where it could take two or three years for a band to release something new :(.

I don't know why you all think it's "canceled." It's not like she's never going to release her next single, so, technically, the single itself is just postponed. The songs on it may be canceled, but a new single will come out =/

What we said it's the single that had to be out on June is cancelled and no postponed as Avex did with GND's new single. We know that she'll release others singles in the future!

But they never said "we are not ever going to release these songs." All they seem to be saying is "we're not releasing a single in June."

don't know if anyone posted but Kuon no Kawa last week's sales are 2,073 (#41) which makes 33,189 total :D and on Monday KnK was 38th, now it's unknown x3

There are somes chance that alan's new single doesn't be cancelled. AAA's one was cancelled too but Avex gave their apologize and said that it was only postponed. So we could hope for alan^^

Well, it is typical JPop to use copious amounts of Engrish... :) I think alan has adorable Engrish though. Makes me want to steal her and teach her English.
