Hey. I actually used to buy from Dora when I started using Ebay... and I got cracked CD cases several times :/ I always asked him/her how come that happens always... and he/she replied saying that I could pay more for insurance. So then I stopped.

They don't have everything, but I think their prices are alright, and their service is great! they might sell used CDs at times, but they look like real new! original plastic wraps, etc!

I'm so sorry to see that your CD arrived damaged like that. I can understand why you're upset. Do you think the seller could at least offer you a partial refund?

I must say, though I'm happy I got them, I'm really dissapointed in the condition they arrived in. The Secret case is so cracked that it barely stays closed, the front barely stays on, and the CD doesn't stay in place. And 3 others were cracked (including BALLAD/You were... which was new and unopened). I'm not so upset about any of the regular cases being cracked, because at least I can replace them. But the glitter case being cracked really bugs me... :headache but I guess thats eBay for you...

dora seems to use stock photots for all the CDs. Like, they'll use the same set of photos for all of the CAROLS CDs they post, or what have you. So the photos can be misleading.

I know. I only like dora because of the prices. See my above post for the full details of my damages. (yeah, I ordered from dora too) I've gotten several cracked and damaged CDs from them before. I guess its not entirely thier fault, because they say on all the listings that they may have scratches, scuffs, or cracks, but when they describe it, it sounds like a lot less than it sometimes turns out to be.

I'd just like to know if its the shipping company's fault, or dora's...

^I ordered once from Dora and that was the only time. He doesn't use enough bubble wrap for his CDs (or at least for mine). I ordered like 3 CDs and there was only 1 layer of bubble wrap. Only one of them came cracked, but if he just spent a bit more time packaging them, they wouldn't be so damaged :(

You can't blame the shipping company really. They get thousands of packages a day; they can't treat all of them gently. Dora re-uses photos (which is understandable or he'd be taking photos all day), but I doubt that any of the CDs he sells have gigantic scratches like your NEVER EVER CD.

for dora she re post the same pictures again and again .so it doesnt really show the actual item .lots of big sellers do that on ebay because its more convinient for them

some even cheat like in the listing it will say very good condition but if you read everything in a small line in the description it will say not the catual picture or acceptabe condition.when it comes to ebay you have to be super carefull .

pictures cannot be trusted anymore . you have to request actual pictures of the actual cd via email if you really wanna see a close up of the condition.

also the description tend to be copy past , since they simply re list even though the cd have been sold , so yes when you copy past the description sounds like a lot less damage than what it actually is .

honestly you could have get a better deal , i saw somebody selling it on ahs for cheapper

as for the cd i believe if it was send in a bubble envellope its nearly impossible to get crack that big unless you step on the package with your full weight , so it might have been already broken before she shipped it .....
the other option is she did a crappy packaging and didnt protect your cd enough well so it got damage during shipping

to me both are to blame , shipping company should be more carefull and the sellers are aware of it and should be extra carefull when it come to packaging . having cheap and bad packaging to me is part of a bad costumer serice.
nothing stop seller from spending a few cents more and buy quality envellope or add extra bubble wrap .

ayu-rox --->i agree i m not surprised your item arrived in bad shape . i dont understand why people keep using ebay . i rather pay a few bucks more and buy at a fix price from private or other fans . also your cd travel from japan to US so it shake a lot .the best for you would be to order directly from US ( 1 you save on shipping , 2 your item arrive faster, 3 they travel less and have higher change to be in better condtion 4- you might be able to get betetr communication , 5-better packaging )
again many fans on ahs are from US and sell their suff . i bought many times from people here and never got a single problem and some of them even gave me extra gifts .i receive my stuff within 2 days ( which always amaze me )

surreal rainbow ---> goikenmuyou and headynana are both selling promotional copy ( it has a dirty piece of paper glue to the back that say promotional or those dirty red prints all around the disk) .THIS IS ILLEGAL ( free promotional copy shouldnt be for resell , in japan cd companies are often ask to return the promotional copy to the music company). its against ebay rule and also they say item location japan when they ship from china , its an other ebay rule that have been bent ....
the cds are cheap because they resell stuff they got for free .its pretty sad to see those promotional cds arrived in the wrong hand , they should be use to promote the artist and put in store for fans to listen not on ebay for resell

^yeah... *sigh*,... dora's prices are just really cheap, but as of late, the CDs have been arriving in worse and worse condition. I've ordered some from he/she/them as much as 2 years back, and the CDs weren't THIS horrible. but maybe that was coicidence...

And as for thier packaging, the CDs are only in a single layer of thin bubble wrap, which is placed inside a paper envelope. so, I can easily imagine it getting damaged inside the packaging.

I originally wasn't planning on getting both first press versions of this single but I couldn't help myself because I'm in love with the covers, lol. I didn't get for as good of a deal as the first one I got but I did get it for a good price. Now I wish I had the posters too, lol!

omg! That really sucks! Doesn't it suck to order something new and think it'll arrive with no damages but it doesn't? The You were.../BALLAD was from dora too?

ayurox---> you should definatly .i agree dora service are getting worse and worse.i guess she or he is trying to spend as litle as possible on shipping.try look at the feedbacks on ahs, there is a lot of happy people with their purchases and lot of great people ( sellers) . i once order a bunch of goods and i was affraid the item would get damaged so i pmed the person to ask if she could add extra buble wrap ( which she kindly did at no extra cost ) also the advantage her is you can ask as many pictures as you want of the items , you can preview what you buy .its not like ebay where there is a photo in stocks and use other people pictures or use the same picture over and over .

i always feel bad when i hear stories about broken or bad condition item . as surely many people i love to collect ayu stuff and i like my stuff to be in good condition .i would get pissed if i received a scratch up cd or a completly broken case and seller didnt mention about it

I think it would be great if you got the first press or the CD+DVD version since the PV can only be found on the DVD.

Ayu definetely looks gorgeous in the photos. I think they're my favorite covers out of all of her singles and albums. Whoever thought of the concept was a genius!

I've never had a problem from ebay, thank god. The only thing I hate is the s&h. i bought 2 vinyl records, each were 20 dollars, s&h was 40 dollars each! :thud

anyways, I like ebay, one time someone sold 3 uverworld cds together for 20 dollars. I bought it, it was awesome. there wasn't much information when I bought them besides the picture so I didn't know what to expect. but they were all japan press, never opened, one of them was the cd/dvd version and i even got a free, 4th, gift cd. (it was high and mighty color's "Dreams" single). I don't like hamc but just the fact i got a free cd was really cool.

i m so sorry to hear that . thats so sad .especially since misunderstood have a big case those are very hard to find and replace . a lot of people ( even outside of AHS) are complaining about dora because of her /his very poor and crappy packaging , ending up with crack case and sometimes scratch up cds :no

Me too! I'm so glad I finally got it for a good deal too. I was originally going to be it from some chick on ebay but 1. She won't be getting hers for another week and 2. Her asking price was 50 and then 21 for the shipping! :dead2 I'm so glad I found the seller's section of this forum, kinix sold it to me for $45 (including shipping) and it was shipped immediately. One more reason to love AHS. :D

I'm quite envious of that beautiful MW you have there. :heart I'm expecting the Depend on You ver to arrive any day now but now shortly after ordering it I realized I wanted the YOU version too. So basically the only solution to my dilemma is to own both versions. XD

I've been doing ebay for years and I can only recall one incident (which was kinda my own fault) otherwise my transactions go really smoothly. I guess I'm lucky to find good sellers that make sure their products are as described and arrive intact. Yeah, I HATE when sellers have good prices on the items to lure you in but jack up the shipping especially when you've bought from another seller in that location before and know for a FACT shipping from that country isn't that pricey. If you want more for the item just say so! :shakehead Perfect example is some of the OS press MOON/blossom listings up there right now. :eviltongu

Got this from gothicayu on Tuesday and loving it. :D The booklet's beautiful, I'm so going to draw Ayu in one of these gorgeous outfits. Haven't seen some of these PV's in a long time and I've never seen the Greatful Days one, lol.
