I'm just glad she's releasing new material! Oh my goodness, it's been how long since she last released something! I like the jazz arrangement is cool, and she sounds good in the song!

I think she should have cut out the french. Just leave that part for the commercial, and keep the song down to 4 minutes with just the japanese part. Otherwise, it's too long. I'm glad we have this song, I doubt she'll be doing any other songs like this in a long time, and it just broadens her discography a bit with this type of music. Cool to look back and think "wow, she has a childrens song, a rock song, a jazz song she sung in french, etc." Just another different song to add to her discography.

It was like a battle between her voice and the chaotic music...and don't get me started on her French. Very disappointing; she could do Jazz so much better than this. I hope the other new tracks are better.

It was fun and matched the style of the song! It was something new and different -in fact, I thought this was a fresh sound from Hikki and I found it appealing. Sure, it's not the best song she has ever released, but I thought it was pretty cool :yes.

Well, this is a very particular style of Jazz, and it's always kind of like, chaotic with these types of vocals.

But yeah, it's not for everyone, and yes, omg her French is the most awful thing. She should have just done it all in Japanese.

I agree with the disliking here, it's really not my genre, however I don't think she did such a bad job.
But the song definitely doesn't stand out for me, I really don't like it <.<
Her voice seems to fit almost every genre though.. *still dissappointed*

Wow, so many people here don't like jazz... =/ I think it's one the most creative songs she has ever made. Making a jazz song is not easy because of all the improvisation involved, hence why it sounds "messy."

...if this was a Yoko Kanno/Seatbelts song on a Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, I bet people would be totally in love with it.

^LOL Maybe. I foresee different (better) vocals for a song on that soundtrack ;P
