The green coat shot is a little strange for some reason-- I can't pinpoint it. Is it her minimal makeup, the contacts, the expression?

I don't see something wrong with her legs. Maybee, it looks if she had no butt, because the coat ride up. Sure... all pics are photoshopped.. but I don't see something really wrong with her legs.

She can be a good model at times, but this really does not come off as her being a good model, haha. Photoshop is a bit too much like you said, but I would have to disagree on your flat comment (at least), if your talking lighting wise. There is a good range of contracts throughout the photos.

I think the photos of her from far away are the better of the batch. Especially the first and third one even if. The close ups are awkward (first, she looks oldish, second, she looks like a monkey and third she looks like a old fish) and those contacts... awful.

These ads still make me want one of these trench coats!!!!!! :( :( :(

well I guess what I meant by "flat" was that, they're so photoshopped that at times they look like a painting.

And then, her legs in the last pic, and her head in the second looking like they were copy and pasted.

Personally, with regards to her modeling, she comes off best when she's just being herself...and I think we saw that with all of the recent shoots...but idk, when she tries to do all this high fashion stuff...it doesn't come off as well.

and yeah, it doesn't look good here.

imo, if they're going to use someone as amazing and famous as Ayu, they should use her like a muse, and get her to try and infuse some of her personality and charisma on the clothes, instead of just, the clothes on her.

Love the second set of images (with her and the flag as the backdrop) she looks amazing! Younger too.

ayu is a good model by her own standards, personally, I believe she knows how to work her angles and features pretty well (I love her eyes, lips, face structure, nose, hands).

She's super peculiar and unique, and that's what I love about her, she doesn't have to be the skinny 180cm anorexic model to be a model. She couldn't compete with them, but obviously, because they're on different leagues lol

And she isn't just a model, she's an icon, models are just to wear clothes, no one cares about their faces. In ayu's case, the first thing you look at is her face :laugh


Now, talking about the photoshop... I hate it. If it just had the right amount in the middle pictures, it would be stunning.

yep. people think it looks weird but Ayu rarely ever does anything whimsical (of the arty farty kind) so it's kinda cool to see her wear that airy wig.
