I'm positively surprised at the vocals. "Song 4 u" is the kind of track that sounds easy, but when you try to sing it you realize the many challenges it poses to vocal dynamics and range. And vocals always sound much, much worse in low quality recordings, so when the .ts is out she will probably sound wonderfully clear except for 2-3 off notes.

Vocals weren't that bad, it was smart that they put Shu-ya as the main dancer next to Ayu than Maro with all the BS going on.

I dont really care about her personal life...i just want her to make great music :)

I thought because Ayu's popular this would pop out of JPopsuki almost immediately, but I checked this morning that it hasn't appeared yet!!!

I'm not sure what's going on with terahata of JPS - does he/she live in Japan? If so, maybe he/she's cautious about data usage and copyrights there...

None of the performances from today's show are on jpopsuki yet, I'm starting to get impatient xD Usually Hey!x3 is up the day of broadcast or the day after though, even after the new download laws ;)

Releases have slowed down dramatically since that law was enforced. They are still uploaded of course, but there is no guarantee on when and how, it's far less consistent than in the past. In many cases, TV music shows are uploaded to Chinese trackers (CHDBits, closed invite only) before jpopsuki gets it.

And yes, terahata is Japanese.

well for me I like yinyeutai and they upload so quick for every music shows since I don't do torrents and the quality is nice too

the live was okay imo, I thought the dance didn't really fit plus them flailing at the end was lol, but the vocals were nice and I like her outfit

God she is so pretty.. I don't get it. I want to know her secrets, especially how she stays so slim nowadays. Her hairstyle and dress are so pretty :heart But the whole live made me think she was performing a summer track or something.. not too fitting for the song. Don't like the vocals but it could be worse I guess lol. This may sound rude but sometimes I wish she would just lipsync. I really wouldn't mind it, she has a good reason to.

She probably needs to not use the dancers too much, since at this point they're recycling the You & Me choreography that they took from fairyland's lives in 2005.

As far as I'm concerned vocals can't get worse enough to justify the embarrassment that usually comes along with the use of a playback.

It always reminds me of an old TV show, in which toddlers pretended to be pop stars, while dancing and moving their lips to a full-playback xD

It may be adequate for children but the thought of a grown up woman imitating herself makes me want to open another bottle of wine :msick

AKB48 and Jhonny's lypsinc a LOT (90% of the times, excpeting few Jhonny's groups) and no one complains. That is fine for manufactured pop machines with no artistic visions. For ayu, who puts her soul and spirit into her music, lypsinc is not an option. I admire her because she is a warrior and never gives up (even if her health condition might make lypsinc a better option)

My goodness it is SO. GOOD. to see Ayu on tv again!! I think she did a pretty good job. Not spectacular, but pretty good!

I really liked the performance, it's nice to see her doing lives again. Her voice didn't sound as good/clear in some parts, but it may just have been the quality of the clip. For the past releases her voice has been sounding much deeper and slightly raspy, don't know if that's just me though. I don't see it as bad though, just different.
