Thank you so much for the YouTube upload, in really appreciate it! I don't enjoy downloading tours and such a huge file would have been hell to download >_<
The few performances I watched, I really enjoyed. As always there seem to be too many people on stage, which is why I surprisingly enjoyed Warning a lot. Ayu's dancing was weird at times but the use of screens and the two background dancers was great! Nothing groundbreaking but I did enjoy it. It was also nice to hear Who... Again (I haven't watched her tours in ages), really enjoyed the songs I saw! Can't wait for the whole show. |
i can't believe i'm saying this but ayu's vocals seem.......Empty. i loved the show but her vocals :irked... they're good technique wise but not emotional. Like during happy ending, secret, who and a song for xx. Ayu made the right moves right faces but, I didn't feel the power and emotion her voice usually makes me feel. :( . it's probably just me.

This was a nice show - I loved the setlist! My favorite performance was hands down immature, though Out of Control was a close second, and WARNING was also amazing. I want the new mix of immature on my iPod! I loved the passion in OOC (and her dress!) and she just brought it in WARNING!:luv2 Least favorite was probably My name's WOMEN because, while I love the song, she's done the exact same thing (or something very similar) every single time she's performed it live. Actually, I wasn't a huge fan of the camera work for GAME and My Name's WOMEN. It was great to hear songs like HAPPY ENDING again. While nothing will beat the MY STORY tour stage of that song, I was really happy to hear it again here. The tracklist alone pretty much guaranteed I was going to be buying the DVD, but after seeing the show, it needs to come out ASAP. |

Her scream to the audience in the end of Until that day was linke of a drunkard xD Suppose was when she was taken down the stage suddenly like "come on partWEEIEIEIE" - hilarious xD

Why do I not really hear this heavy editing that some of you speak of? I mean, I DEFINITELY notice it in CDL 13-14, like WE WISH and other performances, but not as much as you guys insist.
|
I have no clue where is this heavy editing ^^ There is little here and there but really, let's not exaggerate . This is the rawest live she gave since ages xD Also i will say that i think im in the opposite to many people when it comes to angles of shooting. I really like tv versions of her concerts, much more than dvd/bluray release.
Go watch Namie and then talk of editing :-P |

I loved the Happy ending performance though, it was truly beautiful. |
I think ayu focuses more on maintaining her good vocals than conveying feeling through her voice. So she resorts to acting with body movements (at times) which she kind of always does but it's more noticeable when her vocals don't convey the same emotion.
She may eventually get to a point in her vocal improvement where she can have that much control again. But in the meantime, the focus seems on the technical quality until she can do both. Instead of yelling, etc. I was listening to forgiveness from POM and there is so much power there. But her vocals are all so yelly and what not. I'm sure if I actually saw her live though, the emotions she tries to convey would still be conveyed to me. Watching it on TV or DVD is simply a different experience. Anyway, this is clearly a great show which is what she wanted it to be, but I like watching ayu live because I like seeing how her passion works and envelops you. I don't really need the props without the passion. It's like, when I went to see Phantom of the Opera on broadway. I wasn't there for all the flashiness, but the absolutely beautiful and heart-wrenching emotion the actors displayed. I love her vocals and they make me super duper happy. But she still has some way to go to include control and feeling at the same time. At least from my perspective of watching it recorded. As I said, I haven't seen bae live yet. |
No idea about the heavy editing this is pretty much VERY CLOSE to what she sounded like live. PERFECT. Duty is so epic.

Finally have the time to watch it^^ (on my big TV) Microphone on atm^^
It brings back so much memories *_* Can´t say anything about the editing as I don´t know the acoustic of Yokohama Arena. At Osaka show I had the feeling the music was set to loud so that Ayu had to scream sometimes. Edit: Did I allready say I love Timmy´s and Princess' Lost in Trance interlude? |

About her voice I found her more emotional that in the past. When she started the singing class I though "She leaks emotion in her voice now" but now I'm used to her new voice and I can see that is really heartbreaking and emotional, Secret and Last Minute were fantastic to me. But when she sings with that high pitch like Zutto I don't find it emotional. Ayu voice is unique and her feelings are with her always. |

I'm loving most of the new performances, especially immature. That song is life itself. The arrangement is so stellar it almost made me cry. WARNING is great too.
I skipped through Anything for You because that song drags for 11 hours and I have a job. What's a bit weird is that she and the dancers wear the same costume for Mirrorcle World? I suppose she's aiming at a "the circus opens and ends with this" kind of angle, but it just seems that the troupe is running out of costumes. |

^Yea I am very surprised by people claiming this is the best she sounds in ages. C'mon......

I found that her vocal is so good...
her breathing technique is different now... all is on point...and can you imagine to sang in three and half hours concert??? That's very long and exhausting...not just singing, she need to dance, act, change clothes, etc... her vocal is amazing...how many artist out there that can pull off three and half hours??? About lof of dancers on the stage, I think she explained it on SONGS interview, that she want to put not ordinary concert but a Show...I don't know if I got it right, but I think she said something like that. upgraded version of GAME is very amazingly done as well..the part when Ayu did upside down turn in very fast tempo is quiet scary... I really love the intro part of Mirrorcle world...I want that new version... |
