I really want to have Ayu's first 8 singles (the 3 inch ones) in either brand new conditions or at least with their original plastic and stickers but Poker Face is 200$ effing dollars and YOU is impossible to find. Fairyland was the first single I bought and was the first release I 'followed', as in on a forum. I had been listening to Ayu from March of 2005 but fairyland was when I got properly into Ayu's music.

I've known Ayu longer than some of my best friends lol!

I want to buy Loveppears but it's $50 to nearly $200 on Amazon. And I'm poor. So...darn.

Most of her CDs can be found on Amazon for like five to ten dollars so this is pretty disappointing. I'll just have to settle for LOVE again and Love Songs!

You should really look into eBay. Reasonable prices for good quality Japanese versions. As long as you make sure the seller is bonafide, it's the best place to find anything for affordable prices. :yes

I watched how Step by step was placed in the Bijo to Danshi drama and apparently it has Yukie Nakama lipsyncing to the song LMAO. it's kinda hilarious :laugh:laugh

So i stumble upon this performance again and every time i hear it i'm baffled. I mean, her voice never was this nasally and super high pitched like it was when avex got hold of her, so i'm not sure what they did but it was not good. It sold but it didn't sound good at all. Like she sounds so much better here than she does on Poker Face. Like WTF?

I'm so glad she's no longer sounding like she did in Poker face. Her vocals have so much more depth and colour now. Which i love.

I'm pretty sure some of her vocal techniques weren't the best or healthiest before. And she probably didn't take good care of her voice either. And so the deterioration of her voice over time is pretty painful and not acceptable for a top tier pop musician.

I'm really glad she's much better now. Whoever helped her really did a good job and I commend ayu for putting in the work as well.

I wonder how young she was there. I think it's great to see that she's really been doing music for quite a long time. Though, I sometimes get sad when I see these videos because it always sounded to me like those were some pretty dark times in her life.
