I just watched the Feel The Love PV and I'm still shocked that it actually exists. From beginning to end it's just one big mess.

I agree. She really surprised me with that. The worst PV I've ever seen.

I watched it once and couldn't bear to watch it again! I'll take the Bloody Bunny ver any day and I'm not a fan of animated videos.

I actually don't hate (at the same time, it's not like I'm rushing to go watch it again).

There are parts of it that I really enjoyed, like the interspersed animations. I think some of it is really slapstick funny, and (mostly unintentionally) campy.

That said, there are of course a whole slew of things wrong with the messages it is sending (hey fat white girl, with enough hard work you too can be a smoking hot Asian and get the man of your dreams!). But even still -- sometimes people just dissect things way too much and find reasons to be offended over anything. It's the kind of humor that I think can (sometimes) exist in Japan in a way that just totally lacks self-awareness, or is so over the top that nobody would ever even think to take it seriously. So from that angle, I can appreciate it for the pure nonsense that it is.

I'm surprised people still didn't get the message of Feel the Love PV.

I mean, not that the video is deep or super complex, actually, that's exactly why I'm surprised people didn't understand the message.

She is not saying "work out and become a hot asian girl", she is saying "embody the confidence you see in me and use it on your life".

You know, she doens't actually change into Ayu in the end of the video. At the final moments she is back at being herself and still gets the guy

Edit: But sure, people are free to dislike it. I'm not much of a fan either.
