:eek...

I really hope that isn't true. Cassie is a pretty girl, but she can't sing and dances really stiff. She's also doing Diddy and he acts like she is the ****, which is so annoying, because there's people out there who are better than her but they don't get any attention. I hope the other girls just split up and try out solo careers. They might have a chance.

i like her music actually, even though she's not the best singer. i definitely don't want her in danity kane though. just because she flops in her solo career doesn't mean being in a group will get her anywhere.

Did anyone watch the LIVE special on MTV last night? I feel so bad... Aubrey put on SO MUCH WEIGHT. It's like she ate her sorrows away. Poor Aubrey!

Temari_2 26th October 2008 02:41 AM

WHOA Cassie joining Danity Kane? I can't see the three of them in a group together. That is going to be some real bootleg Destiny's Child. Since were all sharing news around here, there are some rumors swirling around that Aubrey is joining G-Unit. I got this from Allhiphop.com

AUBREY HEADED TO G-UNIT?

I don't know how true this is, based on what happened to Olivia. But I heard that Aubrey, formerly of Danity Kane, is now going to be a member of 50 Cent and G-Unit. The time might be ripe for her since she can now ride the beef wave. With 50 at the helm, she's probably able to get it poppin right now. Unlike Olivia, she's got the publicity wind at her back. I did hear that this is probably going to be a joint venture with Diddy. You know Diddy is about that paper, so kicking people out isn't going to stop that. I heard that 50 isn't so fond of Diddy so, who knows? (Remember the Ma$e situation?)

dddaiyamondo 26th October 2008 02:42 AM

That story about Cassie is false. Anyone who knows anything about gossip blogs knows that MediaTakeout is full of ****.

Luv ~Venus~ 26th October 2008 04:00 AM

ROFL @ the rumors!

Who the **** makes up these rumors? :laugh OMG! C'mon.....g-unit?! Sorry, that's like even worse than bad boy. No major artist on that label except for the creator. :lmfao I suggest people make up better than stories that the obviously fake Cassie/G-unit rumor.

Zeke. 27th October 2008 10:49 PM

I would literally shoot 50 Cent and that'd be the last bullet her ever took if Aubrey joined that pathetic piece of work. Aubrey should just go solo and work that sexy, ****ty attitude like no tomorrow. Lol.

Sundae 28th October 2008 01:19 AM

No way should she enter G-Unit. 50 Cent always has to be the best on that crew even at the expense of the other members. Look what happened with The Game.

With only two members, it looks like the next Making the Band is going to be about joining the group, but who would audition after hearing everything that happened here?

Temari_2 28th October 2008 02:58 AM

^

Trust me people will still audition. Anyways, I found some new information not really on Danity Kane but I can see where the "Aubrey joining G-Unit" rumors would have came from. I got this article from here http://www.streetcred.com/?page=news/entry&id=637. Let's just hope that Aubrey isn't one of the contestants.

50 Cent's new reality series with MTV called "50 Cent: The Money and The Power" will premiere on MTV November 6th at 10pm EST/PST.

The show is hosted by and starring 50 Cent. 50 will share life and business lessons with a select group of contestants. The winner, the young man or woman whose ideas and drive make them worthy of 50’s support, receives a $100,000 investment from 50 Cent himself.

The contestants worked together while also living at “Camp Curtis,” a Brooklyn warehouse where they slept in tents named after the five boroughs of New York City. The 14 wannabe moguls, personally hand-picked by 50 Cent, compete in challenges that 50 Cent helped to create

Each week, 50 Cent will narrow down his search by testing the candidates on the knowledge he has taught them.

The show will feature special appearances by LL Cool J, Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, Lloyd Banks and radio personality and blogger Miss Info. Tony Yayo appears on the show as 50's "Underboss."

"50 Cent: The Money and The Power" was mostly shot in New York City and will have ten one-hour episodes

So I have some Danity Kane updates. So According to danitykane.nu

Please be aware that Shannon has not left Danity Kane. I was told this earlier this week but I haven’t been able to confirm or oppose rumors. Shannon is staying and Danity Kane will continue being a bad ass group. They will be hosting JET Nightclub on November 14th where they will also be performing for the first time with just the 3 of them. Danity Kane is here to stay and these 3 women are going to prove everyone who doubts them wrong.

So this is apparently the event they will be performing at next week.

^The group is still a fail. She might as well had quitted. I just don't see the group going anywhere without D. woods and Aubrey. Not saying that they make the group better but they are apart of it.

Temari_2 5th November 2008 07:47 PM

So now I'm hearing some new rumors about the group (or what's left of it) that an underground rapper is suing them for their group name.

"Since their "breakup"....if you can call it that, 3 members left and only 2 remain, Danity Kane is now being rumored to be the subject of a lawsuit by underground rapper and mixtape icon D. King (also known as DK). Apparently, the artist has been speaking to his lawyer and is in process of filing an infringement lawsuit against Danity Kane and Bad Boy Records for the use of the name "DK Entertainment" and the likeness of the DK logo. The "DK Entertainment" brand name was created by the group as a corporation in order to pay out to the singers equally and fairly.

This is a tough area when it comes to infringement lawsuits. Not only do you have to prove monetary loss, you also have to prove that the group purposely stole the infringed upon right from you. Both items are going to be tough for D. King to prove. While he is an underground rapper and has some buzz on the mixtape level, D. King and Danity Kane aren't exactly competing in the same genre or realm of music. How many fans do you think D. King lost to Danity Kane because of the logo? We're guessing not many.

On top of that, the hardest thing to prove is that the name was taken purposely and without consideration to the copyrighted item. What that means is that Danity Kane could have easily created the logo and came up with the name WITHOUT ever knowing D. King existed. It is entirely possible. D. King is going to have to prove this in court that Danity Kane some how had known about D. King and maliciously stole his logo and company name. Very tough to prove."

Wow. Why did Danity Kane break up?

Luv ~Venus~ 5th November 2008 10:03 PM

^Because Diddy was being a douche like always and Aubrey couldn't take it anymore so she defended herself and Diddy got pissed and fired her. He became a bigger douche when he fired D.Woods just because she was in an "alliance" with Aubrey. :rolleyes I want someone to slap Diddy srsly.

So...it is rumoured that the album due next year is to be titled "From The Ashes"...I'm really hoping Diddy did something nice for once in his life and has Aubrey and D. Woods back, cause the title makes me think they put everything behind them and settled their differences...but that's just wishful thinking...

Unfortunately, I highly doubt that will be the case. I recently watched an interview with Aubrey and she was saying that she's working on her solo album. I'll be happy if they do put out another album, but obviously it won't be the same as if they were all still there.

Celaphorce 24th November 2008 05:23 AM

^Well I don't think Aubrey's album will flop, I just think it won't be that good, she's not a talented enough singer to go solo, but she is VERY marketable and will definitely sell a lot. IMO if anyone has the talent to go solo it'd be Dawn...but I just wish Diddy would stop being such a dumb*** and realize he had a good thing going. He also needs to look in the mirror to know that he's and ***hole!!! I wouldn't take his attitude either, even if he was my boss!

Temari_2 27th November 2008 02:25 AM

Here's a performance of Danity Kane (what's left of them) performing "Show stopper" at the club gig I mentioned a while back

Also, Dawn and Que released a new track together (doubt anyone cares but thought I would share that).

Also Aubrey working on her solo album

During an interview at Karu & Y nightclub in Miami with DJ Short-E for a so-called "The Short-E Show", Danity Kane's former member Aubrey O'Day revealed about her plan on a solo album. "I'm working on my solo album right now ..." she said.

Without elaborating his statement, the 24-year-old singer shared that "a big announcement is coming out in the beginning of year". When pursued further, she stated, "I'm not gonna leak anything right now, It's still really new. I'm just really making sure that it's amazing. It's really stand for what I'm before ..."

yay! a solo album from aubrey!
i hope it sells better than anything by Danity Kane as a group (although I love them)
just to show Diddy what's what!
He was stupid to kick the members out.
he needs to learn that he can't do just whatever he wants!
