She was originally in a Japanese girl pop trio before branching off on her own so I'm pretty sure she just stuck with what was available to her, as she lived in Japan and attended ... some sort of performers school. XD I forget the name of it.

The school in Okinawa that Namie Amuro attended as well, right? I think it's the Okinawa Actor's School, even though its produced so many singers (strange name).

It's odd that she doesn't seem to have an especially deep connection with Japan. It feels like she's almost forced to be there, which would be sad, as so many fans enjoy her music.

My Trinka Trinka CD+DVD came today...:D

I already said it in the other thread, but I will say it again for the hell of it. The Lost Lolli and The Cloudy Dreamer are still her best pieces of works, though I still like Trinka. Have to give it a proper listen to now though, I didn't want to download it so I have only heard previews of most songs, Trinka Trinka and Rain so far.

I really love OLIVIA but I have to say, sadly I am not impressed by Trinka Trinka. I was really looking forward to this mini-album but I've given it a few listens and it doesn't really give me that "WOAH" feeling. The songs aren't really memorable. I feel bad even admitting this but I really was looking for a great album. Not even one song that I REALLY LOVE to pick it up for me. Lately I have been listening to SpiderSpins, Denial, and her NANA material seeing as it's Halloween and it's just great music for this time of year! I hope she releases soon because this doesn't really satisfy my OLIVIA needs. Ha ha.
