That's not true. It's annoying to look at ayu and have a feeling she has some kind of drooling daydream moment, when she doesn't. Most of the times, the fish lips are actually very unappealing, and to be honest, ayu doesn't pull that well. I don't think she pulled it well in this picture either. I liked when she was more natural about her pose. I have a feeling that ayu sometimes gets obsessed with something "new" she learns, and then she overkills it up to becoming a little pathetic. Like oh "so this is a vibrato, I've learned how to do it. Let me put it everywhere in every single part of a new song". "Oh I know how to say yeah yeah yeah, and La La La. Let me put them in every freaking song". "Oh so this is how you make a cool sexy pose, let me copy it from this porno star in order to show my newly Donatella Versace-like collagen injected fake lips? Let me do this in every single picture I take from now on, because I can only be sexy if I show my suckerfish lips." Tbh, that's rather goofy. I don't mind it as much as I'm complaining here, but if some people have been complaining about it, it doesn't mean they're being unreasonable. To me ayu either wants to show how much her lips have been injected or she has some really bad cavity that's been making it painful for her to close her mouth on photoshoots..or must be seizres due to the flashlights. Because sexy, with that mouth, she's far from it :laugh Just because one picture is saved over other hundred, doesnt mean she does it well..Like that disco ball picture that looks ridiculous..I can't even stare at that one :laugh

Then why does she sometimes pick some kind of mannerism and abuse it to death? This is not the first time I've seem it. Sometimes it makes ayu a little amateur to be honest. It's not a judgement of her personality, it's something that she shows often, and some people get bothered by it, and other people can't tell they are wrong, because she's indeed overdoing it. Plus, being a fan is not about saying ayu rocks and rolls in everything, so don't try to pull that card on me :laugh

also being a good fan isn't judging someone on every little thing that they do to the point that you've typed up practically a whole essay based on their lips :shrug

Again you pull a senseless card on me :shrug I'm a fan of ayu and her music, but I don't have to love every single detail in her. That's absurd. About something I want to criticize, I can write a whole book about it, still doesn't mean how lesser or more of a fan I am. This is a forum for discussions, not solely worshipping. If you think people are only allowed to post how much they love every single detail in ayumi hamasaki, then there would be no discussion, and I'd be out of this forum ages ago. When i want to comment at how amazing she looks I'll do, when I want to comment at how terrible she looks, I'll do it. Doesn't matter in how many pages I write it. If you didn't like my comment, ignore it, report it, or bring something reasonable up to discussion, but don't bring this "you're lesser or more of fan" just because oyu dislike people who say something different from "love" towards ayu, because that's not the subject of this thread.

I love how you go into these threads and there's always people arguing, there are always people who absolutely NEED to find something wrong with everything, and people who absolutely NEED to argue with these people.

Also, can I say I'm very glad that a magazine finally put a black/dark background? One of the things that bothers me about some of the other magazines is that the light background makes the picture look really overexposed. So hopefully the inside will continue to go with a darker background.

And I'm willing to bet that Kazu Shimomura is the photographer. I noticed the fishlips tend to show up with him photographing, as well as the more unnatural looking poses.
