By the way (and also very off-topic), we are lucky this single was released just this week... By next week, any chance of charting as high as it did would have been killed by NEWS' new single :dead2 -and if it was released exactly one year before, It would have been killed by Mirrorcle World-

but jokes aside , it was pretty something when Kuon no Kawa was released on the same week as other strong competitors like Tsuyoshi's new solo single (1 1/2 of KinKi Kids) & BREAKERZ & for her to rank 3rd behind these 2 artistes who charted at #1 & #2 respectively , it's no laughing matter at all

I wish alan was half as popular as Tohoshinki because then she'd probably stand a chance at number-one.

Congrats to alan this is her best-selling anything. She already outsold mostly all of her singles (maybe she out sold RED CLIFF this week but I doubt it) and she already out sold voice of EARTH's first week sales. I pray that her next single does as well. That will show alan is gaining recognition in Japan.

She probably gave Kuon no Kawa a chance. I didn't like it when I first heard it but after giving it a couple of more listens it's my favorite. I just listen to the Chinese version and I noticed she didn't do her wailing in that one. I wonder why, I think it would have fit the Chinese one more than the Japanese one.

because she always saves the wailing for her japanese versions, same thing with heart war, but at least the chinese version had the higher key

its really weird that her saturday sales is so BIG!!!

OMG! I saw alan on TV last night! I was screaming my ____ off!!! XD
She appeared in the 28th Hong Kong Film awards.
the first red cliff song was nominated for best movie song, but it didnt win! (this japanese producer or smthin won) T_______T
but.. the Red Cliff movie (1st movie) was nominated for the best movie music, and it won! to my surprise, alan went on stage to accept the award!! :O
i was screaming so much I couldnt hear wat she said, but her acceptance speech was pretty short. alan wore this white outfit, and her hairdo looked kinda short...
other info: Red Cliff won a total of 5 whopping awards! (best art direction or smthin, best costume design, best sound effects, best visual effects, and best movie music) :)

I actually...well...I don't like a lot of her music, because it's just not stuff I enjoy as much as other things...she has quite a bit of ballads as well lol

but she does have an interesting style you don't find too much in really any industry, and her voice is just...perfect and beautiful.

I really only love Xin Zhan lol of which I'm looking for lives (if anyone has any lol)
