The third pointless award goes to Shimizu Shota, who reached #1 this week with his album "Journey," selling 57,000 copies. This makes Shota the first solo artist born in the Heisei Period (1989-) to have a #1 album. Shimizu's birth date of the 29th of February, 1989 means that he was born 50 days into the Heisei period, which began with the previous emperor, Hirohito (now posthumously known as Shouwa).

Journey did better than Umbrella in small ways or another but hey it's Shota's 1st #1 album so yup :)

Here are the numbers for the second week. This week Journey sold 24,133 and reached the #6 in the charts.

And I still wait for Journey to come to me T_T. I hope it will come next week.

I'm not sure why this time round Sony BMG HK & Taiwan didn't make a CD + DVD edition of Journey o.o

they did that for both editions of Umbrella though hmm

but it's ok , his PVs are not that great to begin with , the music matters more :yes
