People are actually hating on Sorrows? It's like one negative comment can spread like wildfire here, I mean, it's a perfectly good song and it sounds fine...

It makes me happy, as Ayumi's ballads were what I first came to know of her, and even at her low points, I still liked them. But these, compared to BALLAD / Days / Sunset... It's so nice to hear Ayumi Hamasaki in the music again.

Seriously? Were you on AHS back at the time? I never thought she was out of good ballads. You were... Was awesome and it's deffo among her classics.

just gunna chime in and say BALLAD .... is like my favourite ayu song of all time along with Hanabi lmfao

Hopefully the mini will be available on iTunes tomorrow/on wednesday, idk I don't feel like getting a physical copy, it just takes too long even when it's just 3 or 4 days lol I can't wait to listen to it.

Sunset though... Truly awful. Sunrise > Sunset. And I agree with you on Story. That is one of the best ballads she has released in years.

Yeah, this song is pure magic.

Yeah I don't remember any major meltdowns related to You were.../BALLAD on AHS. Sunrise/Sunset on the other hand :rolleyes I personally never understood all the hate. I loved both songs, and I don't find the covers as offensive as most people claim them to be lol

You were is more commercial though i prefer BALLAD as well :P

Indeed, there was no harsh critism around when You were.../BALLAD was released. The covers were kinda good again, because people were still upset because of Sunrise/Sunset. This "ayu is out of good ballads" is more recent, I think it happened after Love songs (or maybe even during?) Well, LOVE again and A ONE received critism like that for sure.

But who cannot love BALLAD? That song is amazing!
