oh yees! I was really crazy from that. I was thinking about to say something. I absolutely agree with you!
Nice job!
I love Ayu and I'll always be! She's my idol and angel and I only want to wish her happiness and the best! <3 <3

imo absolutely not. I think this happened caus eayu has givento her fans more that everybody else, freedom, involvement, feeling sharing, a blog, twitter, pics..anything really. And now most of us perceive her as something of our property but it isn't it. She has her own life and deserves to live it without any kind of interference.

I'm really happy she did it, i said before, also if won't be the right choice she did something to make ayu happy from the inside

AyUmIXx 11th January 2011 03:04 PM

i wanna ask you guys..

is ayu so FAKE right now?

coz i'm reading a fan saying ayu's a fake person AFTER she got married and that made me kinda angry and sad.. how could ppl think that way?

I've read similar things!

It's frustrating to say the least; these people just aren't happy about it so they want to come up with excuses that it's her fault and not their own.

AyUmIXx 11th January 2011 03:32 PM

^ that's just sad...i would always understand fans who are upset and mad over this sudden marriage news..i know, but gosh... this person has come up with such ridiculous reasons to hate..can't no longer be tolerated anymore.. it's just who ayu chose, what ayu chose.. gosh... no one could change her~ but herself!

ayu-fan 11th January 2011 06:18 PM

^ i'm sure you're talking about crea_spain right?? lol

don't make it bother you, he's just jealous :D

jbrat2219 11th January 2011 06:49 PM

Ayu is probably the least fake person in show business. Don't let the ranting and raving of a jealous individual make you believe otherwise. If she were fake she would boast about how much she loves her fans and then ignore them when she comes across them. If she were fake she would make her music and image reflect only what is popular at the moment and not from what inspires her. If Ayu were fake she wouldn't have been openly flirting with Mannie in the first place and instead would have kept it a secret leaving everyone EXTREMELY blindsided by her marriage.

She followed her heart. It may have been rash, I'm not denying that. But it's what she wanted, and certain people who believe that she's being controlled like a puppet and tricked into marrying Mannie are people who do not know her. There was never any doubt from true fans that this was her decision. And there was never any doubt that it's real and not fake.

Even if you truly believe Mannie is in it for the money and he's not to be trusted and her marriage will fail, a true fan would still hope for her utmost happiness and they would pray that their fears and concerns will be laid to rest and that her happiness would continue until in death do they part.

AyUmIXx 12th January 2011 08:14 AM

^ that i agree with you!
thanks!
i don't doubt about ayu's real though...it's just it made me sad this certain fan could ever think that way, and that's so WRONG!

ownsarai 12th January 2011 12:16 PM

^If that is coming from who I think its coming from...yea, you shouldn't listen to anything he says. It's just jealousy. :shrug

emi♡ 12th January 2011 01:00 PM

lol I banned his dumb ass everywhere. He was so annoying.

I dont get why it makes her fake at all.

Oh like a fake marriage? :laugh Well who gives a crap. If it is, then I hope she has a good pre-nup cause her butt is married in the States.

Bad Wolf 12th January 2011 01:05 PM

^ Aw, so I'll never get to find out the origins of the paella lulziness? ;_;

The amount of entitlement some fans can have over a musician is just scary as hell. Just like authors, musicians are not our bxtches and they can and do live for themselves, first and foremost. We can either go along for the ride, or bow out and move on to something else. No one but ourselves should be blamed for sticking around long after we've lost enjoyment.

Suteisi 12th January 2011 01:43 PM

I noticed this lately, even around me in real life, some people, especially guys, when they get attached to someone they feel like they have some kind of ownership over them and want to control what they do and say. It seems to me that's what happened to said individual that caused lots of drama. It went to his head that he met her and she remembered him and talked to him at RnRC concert.

If someone's fake in all of this, it's him. Not Ayu. :rolleyes

Bad Wolf 12th January 2011 01:50 PM

^ Indeed!

And what's really funny, in a sad sort of way, is that Ayu herself has decried such presumptuousness of her/a girl's life -- by males in particular, I think -- in more than a few songs. I think I'll let her speak for herself in such instances:

Quote:

If you think that women don't know anything, anytime
And are just nodding with watery eyes
It's a big mistake
Because you are in the palm of my hand
:innocent

Epic quote for this kind of situation. SLT, right?

Bad Wolf 13th January 2011 06:31 PM

Yup! :D I was just looking at the lyrics for that song recently and realized how sassy it is.

At the end of the day, its her life. People can disagree with what shes done all they want, but thats not going to make her suddenly go 'Oh my god. What have I done. Ive married a man I love when I could've been having paella nightly.' Good ol' Jorge. If it wasnt for him then Twitter would be slightly less hilarious. Slightly. But a lot less creepy too.

I'm genuinely happy for Ayu, but it also got me to thinking about something regarding the relationship between fans and their idols. So I just wanted to ask: do fans have the right to have a stake in the happiness of the people they admire, people they do not know in REAL life? Why?

My take: I mean, for God's sake, she's 32 years old. She's an adult who can take care of herself and she's capable of making her own decisions. This isn't some sort of immature clueless high school romance; I am sure they know what they're getting into.

Sometimes people just click instantly. Love doesn't have any predetermined lengths or limitations. And honestly, people, please, your ages are showing. The older you get the less time it takes for you to know if you can see a future with someone. By the time you're 30, you've gone through all the crap and now you can see through the BS when it comes to people and relationships, especially when it comes to people of high emotional intelligence like Ayu. Sometimes you just know; it depends on your emotional maturity. You don't need to waste time. I even bet that Ayu has had a lot of boyfriends and flings that her fans know NOTHING about ever since Tomoya Nagase happened. You'd be surprised about the things you never know about people, even your friends.

I wish happiness for the both of them. Let her live her OWN life and let her make her OWN mistakes, if it comes to that. Ayu should not live for anyone but herself.

It's also disappointing to find so many hypocrites in this forum, fans who want the best for Ayu but only if it is on THEIR terms. But that's just what I think.

EDIT: I just wanted to add this question since most people don't bother reading through all of the posts and I wanted to expound on why I started this thread :) For those who are afraid that Ayu would not be as dedicated to her career after her marriage: has it gotten to the point that for Ayu the happiness of her fans is more important than her happiness and that people subscribe to this? Or has the happiness of her fans even become her happiness? That is something I don't know how to feel about yet.

I mean, for once, Ayu will be living for something other than the happiness of her fans.

Because a lot of individuals learn to get their voices heard by saying either controversial or very extreme views.

Do people really hate mannie? I don't think so, they just don't know him very well and don't know how to deal with change

Just like she said in alterna:

"If you are afraid of changes
Watch me at a distance
Whether or not I may do something
I'm talked about behind my back
Let it be"

These Ayu lyrics really fit this situation really well... I'm so proud of you guys.

Here's another

"I'm sorry if I can't be with you
in your dumpster shack in Spain
but I have found a new love in my life
No more paella, I'm sorry George."
