Well...i don't like the idea too much...I would prefer releasing a full length album in christmas or spring with all the new songs instead of this.
It may sounds strange but a new release every month could be boring...

^ Especially if they're $30 a pop (with shipping included)

TeamAyu2004 28th September 2012 09:53 PM

I just hope she manages a single in there somewhere.

I placed my order on amazon for the two versions of LOVE (minus Tales version...not sure why...don't own Tales version of FIVE either...), and I also ordered two albums that for some reason I never bought: MY STORY Classical and ayu-mi-x IV NSMM. So total came to like over $150 with shipping.

So today, for the hell of it, I added the same stuff on my cart on YesAsia, and they offer free shipping. ONLY $125! ABOUT a $30 savings! That damn shipping is crazy! I know it's costly, but amazon and CDJ should seriously consider some kind of free shipping option, especially for customers who spend a certain amount.

^ I'm paying about $60 for the CD only and Tales edition with FedEx shipping from CDJapan. I like FedEx because so far, once my order is shipped I tend to get it within 36-48 hours.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 12:20 AM

^Yes, I do love the fast shipping from CDJ, but since I always download the leaks, I don't mind waiting a few extra days for my package, especially if it means saving a significant amount of money! So I think maybe I'll just order from YA, and probably add more things to my cart that I don't yet have. LOL

TeamAyu2004 29th September 2012 01:19 AM

^ I only had to pay 700 yen in shipping...
I too dont care about shipping times because I download it with it leaks!

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 01:22 AM

^^only 700 yen? Where did you order from. And free shipping is still better than 700 yen. :D

TeamAyu2004 29th September 2012 01:33 AM

free is better, yes..
but I got mine through CDjapan...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 01:35 AM

^Maybe because you only ordered one or two versions...hm. I did have two other albums in my order. But I think they pretty much always try to charge me at least 1700-1800 yen for shipping.

Delicious n Bold 29th September 2012 06:44 AM

I'm actually thinking about just downloading instead of buying it...
I mean, all I want is the ballad and if that disappoints, I may as well spend my money on quality (like everyone's favourite album: ASfXX).

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 06:55 AM

^Not me, don't have that mindset. Must. Buy. Everything. LOL

Delicious n Bold 29th September 2012 06:57 AM

^ All you wanna do is buy Ayu CDs
Whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

Lol I say that but I probably will buy the cd+DVD as a post-midterm present

Yesasia inflate their prices, so it's better to use YA when you want to buy in bulk :laugh

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 07:03 AM

^Yeah, I'm starting to realize that lol

Delicious n Bold 29th September 2012 07:08 AM

But isn't the YesAsia packing all sketchy?
I've read that brand spanking new CDs sometimes come with their cases scratched.
I guess with amazon Jp and CDJapan, you're paying for utmost quality without worry of defection of any kind.

pommy48 29th September 2012 07:10 AM

I never used YA after 3 of my 5 albums came cracked.
They just stacked them in thin plastic bags...:rambo

With CDJ, they wrap it carefully with bubble wrap :yes

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 07:11 AM

I've never had a problem with items coming from YA. The packages are actually usually very hard to open, tight, and secure!

How long ago was that?

They use boxes and bubble wrap nowadays.

pommy48 29th September 2012 07:16 AM

A year ago :bawl My alan CDs had to suffer, but the only good thing was they unexpectedly gave me an autographed CD...I guess they still have some redeeming qualities haha

But anyways, please ignore my OTness!
