You read my mind. I have exactly the same opinion about BEST albums.

best albums are usually targeted towards new listeners, new fans and people outside the main fanbase

but if they have a nice photobook like what A COMPLETE had, then why not? :yes

Because you have an excuse/reason to pay attention to those "death tracks" again. The label/artist is telling you "we really like these tracks" so why don't try them again?

From the label's side it's mainly for money but the artist might like to release its best to the fans, when the artist chooses the songs or fans at least and it's not like a normal single collection.

I still think they have to release a compliation album with all different performance of this tour :D

I'm happy, but at the same time I'm a lil bit sad 'cause it means it has been a very bad year for almost everyone who released fisical cd. It's really a general bad situation. I'm so in love with actual cds, I so don't want them to disappear! =(

AyumiAi 24th June 2013 04:43 PM

Also compilation albums always do really well, (usually) so it's a chance to see your artist excel in sales :P

YUKARI 4th July 2013 05:26 PM

Honestly I thought it'd break 100k eventually.....

It makes me wonder what ayu & avex think about next original album. What if it sells only 60k... :(

tossayo 14th July 2013 08:31 AM

Are there any sale numbers from digital sales?

AwakenedPRO 29th July 2013 11:47 PM

Poor Ayu... 88,000... Pfff...
I remember Rock 'n' Roll Circus (2010) sold this number the 1st day...

What's gonna happen next after the live album? Will she start releasing singles? A compilation album or a studio album without singles? :/
I don't want her to be like Ami Suzuki or Seiko Matsuda (sales).

YUKARI 30th July 2013 01:28 AM

I think once she's back to TV, she'll be safe.

KuuXAyu-fan 30th July 2013 01:52 AM

Can't wait for Ayu at FNS Summer in 2 days!

spanishfan 30th July 2013 10:46 PM

this week might reach 89k! I hope for a bit increase (at least more charting-life) so it can reach 90k in 4 weeks more :D

marekcarey 31st July 2013 06:15 PM

It already stopped charting.

spanishfan 31st July 2013 09:34 PM

^Oh god, sorry. I was confused by the last coments >.<

AwakenedPRO 31st July 2013 11:28 PM

He he! It would be awesome though if it could start a new chart run... A 2nd round. I wish someday soon she'll revive her popularity and her previous albums re-enter the oricon chart. Well... Dreams are free! :p
