I have no idea who/what Anna Karenina, Dangerous Liaisons or Great Gatsby are... LOL

Also I know who Keira Knightly is, but don't get the reference. LOL

^
They're all books, and Keira Knightley acted in the recent Anna Karenina film, which had this dance scene that's just almost identical to the one hosted in Uncontrolled video, lol. The style of the clothes and the surroundings too are based on the style of these books, more or less.

ILoveGeniuses 21st November 2013 05:16 PM

^Ah ok. Never heard of any of it. Actually I think about only thing I've seen her in is the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

I did recognize the Anastasia themed stuff in the MV though.

idk the video is gorgeous though

That video made me love the song; such a gorgeous video. I can't stop singing it to my boyfriend :laugh

It's SO Anna Karenina, 'cause the dancing scene just reminds me of the last film with Keira Knightely!XD And the car crushing Katy just made me think of the train running over Anna, lol. I don't see Great Gatsby or Dangerous Liasons (both of which I adore to death).

The car scene was based off or inspired from the Great Gatsby. I've never seen Dangerous Liasons though and I need too.
I love the video... It was amazing and I must have watched it a dozen times when it first came out. lol

OH, now I see! Why didn't I link it to that, it's so obvious now that it's pointed out lol!

TeamAyu2004 25th November 2013 04:52 PM

lol... i didn't see it till I read about it. LOL.
Like, I was so close with Anastasia, but it was Anna... lol..
close enough. some time period! LOL

ILoveGeniuses 25th November 2013 05:10 PM

Are anymore of the album's tracks getting MVs? Or is this it?

TeamAyu2004 25th November 2013 05:43 PM

this is Katy Perry.
I'm pretty sure she will single at least 3 more songs.

Delicious n Bold 25th November 2013 06:35 PM

3 more singles*
So at least 3 more music videos?

TeamAyu2004 25th November 2013 06:40 PM

maybe? her last album had five or 6 singles yes?
and then she rereleased it for 2 more singles... so that was a total of 8?

ILoveGeniuses 25th November 2013 06:41 PM

I really don't see the point in releasing singles of the album songs AFTER the album is out. Never have. If a person wants just ONE song off the album they can always just buy just that one song on iTunes, Amazon etc. The way Japan does it with releasing singles before the next album makes more sense to me.

Delicious n Bold 25th November 2013 06:42 PM

She had a lot of singles
But it's definitely the case that we'll get music videos when she releases the songs as singles. There are few cases in western music where that isn't the case but I'm not counting on that.

~StarCatcher~ 26th November 2013 08:54 AM

Western way of releasing music is weird and not my thing, because like you said ILoveGeniuses you already know the song and most probably bought it already off the album....

Japanese way of releasing is way more interesting; you always get something new and albums are so great, because you know the hits and can celebrate them and you also get to know new material
