Previously, it was reported that L'Arc-en-Ciel's documentary film 'Over The L'Arc-en-Ciel' will be shown in theatres across Japan for 8 days starting December 5. It's been revealed that the film will also be shown overseas.

The film covers the band's world tour 'L'Arc-en-Ciel WORLD TOUR 2012'. The countries that have confirmed the film's screening at this time are Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Argentina, and Mexico. Other countries that will show the film will be announced later.

VAMPS to start their arena tour in February

VAMPS are currently in the middle of their "siege-like" live house tour 'VAMPS LIVE 2014-2015'. For the newly announced tour, the rock duo will hold concerts on February 7 and 8 at Nippon Gaishi Hall, February 28 and March 1 at Osaka-jo Hall, and March 14 at Xebio Arena Sendai.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 11. Prior to this, ticket pre-reservations will be available through VAMPS' fan club "VAMPADDICT" and HYDE's official mobile site "HYDERoom".

TV Asahi's 4-hour music special 'MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2014' will air on December 26 at 7:00 pm. The second line up of artists who will be performing on the show has been announced.

Good for Vamps! Although it does make me realise that we aren't gonna get any L'Arc stuff until the 2nd half of 2015. Saying that I wasn't expecting anything this year anyway!

What's crazy is - assuming L'Arc are following a pattern which I don't think they are - I first saw then live in 2008 and then in 2012, so really the next time I see them should be next year.

VAMPS to release international edition of new album BLOODSUCKERS before New York concert

VAMPS, the Japanese rock band formed by HYDE (L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), will perform a headlining show at New York City's Best Buy Theatre on May 1st. (Tickets on sale here).

VAMPS returns to New York City after previous appearances in 2009 (at the Fillmore), 2010 and 2013 (at Roseland Ballroom) and HYDE's concert with L'Arc~en~Ciel as the first headlining Japanese band at Madison Square Garden in 2012.

VAMPS will also release the international edition of their new studio album,BLOODSUCKERS, through Spinefarm Records on March 23rd in the UK/EU and March 24th in the U.S.

This 13 track release – produced by VAMPS and Josh Wilbur (whose previous credits include Gojira and Lamb Of God) and housed in the artwork of mysterious Japanese artist Rockin' Jelly Bean – is the follow-up to SEX BLOOD ROCK N' ROLL, also issued via Spinefarm in 2013.

Says HYDE, who launched VAMPS with K.A.Z in 2008: "BLOODSUCKERS is a record that we spent almost one year putting together. For me, this is the best work we've done so far, and we would love to tour around the world with these songs…"

VAMPS Rocks New York Fans on Final Stop of U.S. Tour

VAMPS finished the sole headlining show of their 2015 American tour on May 1st by delivering an extra-long concert for their Bloodsucker fans at New York's Best Buy Theater, located in the heart of Times Square.

VAMPS, the Japanese rock band formed by HYDE (L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), started their 12-city, month-long American tour on April 8th as part of the "Modern Vintage Tour" with SIXX: A.M, led by Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue. In addition, VAMPS performed at two back-to-back events in Florida: the "Fort Rock Festival" on April 25th with Slipknot, and Slash, followed by an appearance on April 26th at "Welcome to Rockville" with Korn, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, and Slipknot.

After mixing it up with these mega-bands from the U.S., VAMPS moved ahead to the next stage for their headliner show in New York on May 1st. Voodoo metal band Like a Storm and rock/rap-alternative metal band From Ashes to New provided opening sets before VAMPS took the stage, opening their concert with heavy and loud songs "World's End" and "Live Wire" that made fans go wild with excitement.

HYDE reached out to the crowd, "We're so happy to be back in New York! This is the last night for the U.S. tour. Are you ready to rock?!" The audience responded with their support. After 17 songs in 2 hours, HYDE finally said goodbye to the audience. "Let's meet again! We'll come back to New York! See you soon!"

Some fans followed VAMPS from Philadelphia to see the headlining show after catching the show with Sixx:AM just days before. "With Sixx:AM, their set was only 30 minutes – we wanted to see the full-scale show!" said a fan. VAMPS will return to the U.S for "Rock on the Range 2015" on May 15th, followed by shows in Hong Kong and Taiwan before closing the tour in Tokyo at the Saitama Super Arena for "VAMPS LIVE 2015 BLOODSUCKERS Final Support by uP!!!" on May 30th and 31st.
