Well, I have a friend who's trilingual. He was born in Ukraine and his first language was Russian. When he was about 7 his family moved to Argentina where he learned Spanish, and then when he was about 13 he moved to America and learned English. Him and his brother are fluent in three languages, and I never saw them struggle with them. And they didn't even grow up from the beginning knowing all three languages.

so if my friend (and his brother) are both fluent in three languages after learning them throughout their childhood, I'm pretty sure hikki's son is gonna have no problem learning them if he gets to start learning them from the day he's born, and be constantly around them.

No way, I had no idea she was pregnant! Congrats to her and her hubby, this is amazing news!!! Plus new album! I can't believe she's a mum - I'm so happy for her!

I'm trilingual, too. Finnish, Swedish and English. I bet Hikki's kids can make it well enough. :D

And yey for the new album! I cross my fingers for some R&B tracks. That genre is my soulmate~ :heart

Learning, by the sense of "studying" is somewhat different from growing up with. Trilingual here too! lol. Japanese, english and Filipino from my maternal ancestry. LOL

Anyway, Congratulations HIKKI! I'm so happy for her and her husband. Wish her son will inherit her magic. LOL And a new album! Could't be any happier. Hikki is all over the news this morning and the tv presenter of the program i always watch says that its the like of hikki who will just surprize everyone with this kind of news cuz usually its the pregnancy news first before giving birth.

I didn't realize she was side saddling pee wee herman in private. I knew they were married, but it never even occured to me that they would have done anything. I thought she couldn't have kids? Didn't she have a tumor in her uterus years ago that was removed?

Also two things are popping in my mind right now. The lyrics for About me "What if I don't want a baby yet?" Over ten years ago, I guess she's ready now. lol

And now that I think about it, maybe the video for Sakura nagashi was a hint at what she was trying to do? It shows a baby being born. Maybe that was her "subtle hint" to everyone that she was ready and thinking about it.

Completely late and just read this, but tumors don't always equal cancer. She had an ovarian cyst removed. I've mentioned here before that you can have kids unless the cyst causes an ovary to twist. And even then, we have another one :D

I've seen this rumor mentioned several times on here, but just letting everybody know it won't necessarily cause a decrease in fertility as evident by her baby.

I'm just surprised she kept it hidden!

That's crazy! Congratulations to her.

People would have already been excited with an album announcement. But the announcement of a baby along with the album just really puts everything over the top. I'm not surprised this is all over the news lol.
