^ i think japan has a bit of different view on that. I know GACKT for example gives gifts that sometimes he himself wears too. Some he says are for protection of the people he cares about and others are just because he loves the stuff himself. Think of the times when in school you would make twin bracelets for you and your best friend. It's kind of the same thing lol

Love songs is an amazing album and I love the way it sounds, it's pretty much the best that Testsuya Komuro has ever done. However, I agree that she shouldn't have worked with him so often after that. His compositions don't sound as good anymore.

It's funny how TK has become Ayu's go-to default producer/composer/arranger now because at the time of her debut there was a lot of buzz about Ayu being one of the few female pop singers to have no association with TK as he pretty much dominated the top 10 with his endless producer/composer/lyric credits across Avex and Sony acts.
