I think it also depends on how many people are singing/screaming at the same time. I didn't have any issues with this at Ayu's concerts, but it was quite annoying at the Super Junior concert in London, for instance. Especially during the "MC"-sections, where the members could talk to the audience. People kept screaming while the SuJu members were talking and I couldn't hear them and the interpreter.

I watched the tour making and thought to myself.
What if Ayu takes P!nk's acrobatics?
STEAL HA!

Oh no when I went to an Ayu concert I had ringing in my ears for almost 2 days. I was fine at Smashing Pumpkins.

So true. Ayu concerts are extremely loud if you have seats close to the stage. During Arena Tour 2015 I had seats very close to the stage 2 days in a row and the sound was so loud that I felt as if it was cutting my ears like a sharp knife. During Forgiveness refrain those 'iiiiiiii" notes were killing my ears, I saw a girl in front of me having the same problem, she had to cover her ear with hand and towel. I had to consult a doctor afterwards because my left ear was hurting and I couldn't hear well for a long time. After that I bought ear plugs in 100 yen shop and successfully protected my ears during recent Countdown live, they literally saved my ears. There's no way I would ever attend such a loud concert without ear plugs.
But regardless of how loud the show is you can hear people singing and talking if they're standing next to you.

Wow...I've never had that problem o_o the closest I've sat was C section in Yoyogi

I mean immediately after the concert my ears need to get used to the normal sound level but nothing that didn't fix itself within like 30 minutes

I have poor hearing so it sounded loud enough to me. And I was like 6th row from the stage, directly adjacent to the catwalk. I was also the one singing along, lol. But I couldn't even hear myself so I don't know how people nearby could. I imagine it being the same for others.

AyuGAME 10th May 2016 08:53 AM

Hmm...I think it's more about where do you seat..if you are seat far from speaker..then the sound will be lower...but I found that the sound is pleased to my ear when I attended her show in 2012 (Nagoya show). Although it can be a little bit louder.

truehappiness 10th May 2016 08:57 AM

In general whenever I go to concerts I feel like my ears won't stop ringing for DAYS afterward unless it's like an orchestra or piano only show.

Question about the CDL, I know wrong thread but, did she ever have worse vocals than at that concert? Cause I'm hoping that her vocals for the tour will be better, CDM can't have been a fluke....

Now THAT is much, much more distracting, rude and concert-ruining behavior than the actual recording.

That's so awful, I'm sorry you even had to be in the same concert as that person. I hate when people are trying to be a police of good manners but end up being even more rude and disturbing. I'm so glad I never had a bad experience at a concert (probably because I haven't been to that many).

Countdown Live 2002-2003 when she was sick.
Countdown Live 2007-2008 when she had ear problems.
Countdown Live 2010-2011 Do it again
Try watching TV-versions of these concerts.

I wouldn't expect good vocals from new tour. Any vocal progress that she had during CDM seems to be lost, she's back to screaming and I can't call this singing. Although comparing to 2008 she's way better at staying on key.

Now that we have the songs, I think we can probably put them into the chapters.

Chapter of Spring
Chapter of the rainy season
Chapter of Summer
Chapter of 'Nothing'
Chapter of Autumn
Chapter of Winter
Chapter of the Beginning of the End

I think Mad World could be in chapter 4 for sure.

Next_Level29 11th May 2016 09:41 AM

i dont think she will sing all of them, but i can see hana, survivor, summer love and mr. darling there, where you placed them freedreamer. i would adore the concept like you listed it :)

Yeah, Ayu concerts are very loud. It makes western concerts feel less impressive lol.

Comparing AT09 to Rebel Heart Tour, it's a bit:

AT09 => bass is so loud your entire body shakes
Rebel Heart Tour => "can everyone shut up please?! I can't hear her!!"

BTW I think she might replace GREEN with FLOWER. It makes sense.
Although there's no CDL release, so who knows...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 11th May 2016 01:42 PM

Really anxious to know how many new songs she is going to perform...and if this will be a lengthy show like last years CDM...

ayumint 11th May 2016 01:45 PM

I think Flower will be the opener, it has potential to replace GREEN

Surreal17 11th May 2016 01:48 PM

Hopefully she'll perform all 8 new songs. They all have potential to be in the main setlist with TODAY maybe in the encore. I mean, 8 songs is not much for a tour which shares the same name and theme as the album.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th May 2016 01:00 AM

I can totally see the concert opening with tasky --> flower.
