male. three female artists may be at the top of my fav artists list including ayu and eiko shimamiya. but due to het amount of male dominated jrock i listen to and think is much better than the general jpop. i do say male. the other female musicians i listen to just dont always do it for me. my female list has been growing recently though :)

oh oh i know what. i find more emotion, connection, poetry, and inspiration in more jrock bands than in female artists (or course many still have emotion etc.)

The only male singers/bands I listen to are Arashi and Super Junior.
Sometimes I like a song from a different male artists, but that doesn't happen often.

I really have no problem with male singers, so I don't know why I'm not listening to more of them.
