According to the auction page the winning bid was 5,724,000 yen (US$48,500). Those high bids reported in Chongqing Times must not have been legitimate.

But it's a pair of jeans, with Ayu's signature. It's amazing how one mark made by a superstar on a pair of jeans could raise the jean's value by so much.
