sparkle glitter 18th May 2009 05:14 AM

I absolutely can. It's a huge difference.

RyRyMini 18th May 2009 10:09 PM

No, I can't really. Only for certain songs, but if I'm just listening to a song for the first time I wouldn't be able to tell.

I still try to get as many 320s as I can, just because that way I *know* it's high quality xD..

ayumixfan 19th May 2009 04:20 AM

I cant tell the differnece besides its louder? does that even count? LOL XD I usually prefer the other 2 because its faster to dwl LOL XD

aqua_crystal 19th May 2009 06:15 AM

I dont mind listening to a song which is 128 kbps really. I mean, I know the difference between the kbs, bt I dont care. :P

tommy96814 20th May 2009 06:47 PM

if you can't then i question your hearing or your sound system.

kendelle 21st May 2009 03:31 AM

I can't tell the difference even between 128 and 192, but that may be because I don't really play my music loud because my family hate it :lmfao

I just like having the music, the highest quality isn't what I'm out for, I just love the tunes :yes

Neko★munication 31st July 2009 12:39 AM

320 is ridiculous, especially when downloading whole albums or singles. The difference is virtually non-existent unless you have REALLY (really) good sound equipment. And if you claim that you can hear a "HUGE" difference between 192 and 320 then you're most probably fooling yourself :innocent.

Kbps isn't even that much of a determening factor when it comes to quality. I remember someone on another forum made a huge post about what it really means, but I can't remember the whole thing. But for example, my Mp3 of Nanchatte Renai is 192 kbps and is REALLY bad quality (not that it keeps me from listening to it cause I love that song, heh) whereas my mp3 of Tsuugaku Vector is 128 kbps and is way louder/clearer/sharper than Nanchatte.

zyoeru 4th August 2009 01:27 AM

I can't hear a difference. So my MP3 uses 192 kbps

Northerner 4th August 2009 02:47 AM

Yes. Bad quality bothers me, and I definitely can tell. It sounds "muddled," if you know what I mean.

ian lim 9th August 2009 02:19 PM

Yes, 320 is way better than 128.

yuki_unmei 25th August 2009 09:59 AM

yea i can tell.
if i'm listening to something and think it sounds too muffled, i'll check the details and it'll be something under 320.
which reminds me i need to update some of my music XD

Neferet 25th August 2009 11:49 PM

I definitely can tell the difference between 128 and 192/320kbps. A song in 128kbps annoys me a lot xD I'm a quality freak as many of you XD

I don't care if it's 192 or 320kbps... But, if I have an option, I'll always choose to download the 320kbps file. I prefer to have the highest quality because that way I fully enjoy music.

It depends on your headphones and many other things to actually notice the changes between 128/192/320kbps and higher... And if you are listening with speakers, their quality too.

mellody 26th August 2009 07:26 AM

If u want to hear the diffrence, i recommend using earphones~
or high quality sound system~

320 kbps is the best~
if the file is VBR, it is a lot better again~

JackieRos 27th August 2009 12:43 AM

nope
320kbps only takes up precious space:rolleyes

Chibi-Chan 10th February 2012 05:40 PM

I can't stand 128kbps... >_< I downloaded a lot of music twice 'cos I needed to have all the old stuff in 320kbps!

Delicious n Bold 2nd May 2012 06:28 AM

Yes yes yes
I've turned into this rampant audiophile.

PetiteMonstre 2nd May 2012 07:08 AM

Yes, i def. can.

I have really good earphones and when I hear a song with less kbs I feel like ugh

letter 2nd May 2012 07:57 PM

Sometimes, most of the time. I'm not going to lie, not always.
