Hey, hey, I think it actually depends on each person's taste, whether Ayu's PV is good or bad... Some people can think this particular PV is good, but some other people can think in the opposite way, rite?
For myself, all Ayu's PVs are good.^^

I have to agree with some of you saying that yeah, she does have some recent bad PVs but yeah, she also had bad PVs in the past. Although, I have to say that she also had better PVs in the past. If I count the ones I love, not like or think it's okay but really love, I believe there's more PVs from the past I like.

I don't think the present PVs lack quality, or lack a plot. ("rainy day" have both a plot and great quality) I just think that they are missing a little something that would make me love it. Maybe it's just a little bit of creativity? I don't know. But lately, her PVs haven't "wowed" me. (I hope "Beautiful Fighters" will be great! :yes)

Yeah lately her 2006 pvs haven't been exactly creative though they still managed to come out as good (except Born to Be..) I think what they lack is that extra twist which left you wondering and contemplating.

However various recent ones have impressed me. Ladies Night, alterna, rainy days, STEP you, my name's WOMEN had a lot of replay value. They were an impressive piece of work.

I agree with ruixiong89's idea. Many people are taking up the idea that her older works are much better than her newer ones. Thus many just classify them old and new, bad and good. Her style has changed. She's gained a lot of confidence and is happy about her life to I feel it reflects in her pvs and lyrics. She's got her niche now and probably she's satisfied where she's arrived to.

I doubt she's flaunting her money or trying to show off. Personally I can point other videos where artists are showing off. It's just a pv where she's happy and the yatch in the pv was probably intended to look as if it was hired by her and her friends.

Well, I don't know. I still see messages in her newer PVs, but they don't seem to be as detailed (if that's the word) as her older work. Personally I think some are just pointless. Maybe not pointless, but I can't stand Startin' and it's NOT because of her "sexual moves" in the PV. I just don't see any meaning. :shrug

yes all her PV/MV in the past was shot in a great scenery/location and every thing has a meanign aside form what she's showing now...
i think it's just like shooting a video.......... not putting some drama or good location shoot in it... bleh

hey hey...yeah alterna and HEAVEN were good PVs. I liked HEAVEN's symbolism and alterna was just...yeah, really really good.

But it's still flaunting money. Not hers, as you say, she doesn't pay for them, but anyway it looked like spending a lot on a production that didn't give any effect above the average (thus we think they could spend less, not flaunt, and achieve the same).

Well, in some respect, can't we assume that because of all the '....' PVs coming up (not to me, but w/e) that we can also assume that some huge PV is going to be made for some ballad or something? :D

I agree. I think because I haven't really liked her PVs from "Bold and Delicious"/"Pride" on, it's easy to look back and classify ALL her older PVs as good, which isn't the case.

For me, it's that her PVs from B&D on seem to have this "been there, seen that", somewhat cliche quality to them. Or, in the case of some, just not well put together. There really hasn't been anything since HEAVEN that stirred any emotion in me that wasn't negative or indifferent.

But, hopefully Beautiful Fighters will be good!
