I think the reason they like to do pouty faces (It's not just a trend with Ayu, it seems a trend or something of the fashion industry to have this half-shocked face) is that it probably shows off the makeup more; And the pose would have been aimed to do the same thing. I don't know, it's just a somewhat weird observation.
