They busted their way through the top 10 yearly and it's the last week of the 08 year. lol They even beat AC's overall sales and more than likely beat Bz overall sales tomorrow...and maybe ever HS. o= That's bad ass. If they don't get a bigger rise by tommorrow they'll be #6 yearly.

mmm looks like KAT-TUN wouldn't be getting 250K+ in the 1st week but it's ok , I'm more or less happy with what I'm seeing although I wish that GReeeeN will get the top as Tobira's a pretty good single .

erm as far as I know , Tobira was released in 2 editions , a regular CD only & a limited edition 2CDs which the 2nd disc contained an extra track .

For KAT-TUN's case , both CD , CD + DVD have limited pressings which will be sold til boxing day (& I still haven't got my copy yet cos stock's delayed here & I'm pissed about it) :eviltongu

I don't know why GReeeeN's sales are low but at least Tobira already outsold the total sales of the quartet's duet with BACK-ON's Ashiato which was released under the name BAReeeeeeeeeeN

I'm frankly shocked that Exile Ballad Best is selling so well especially since their previous 2nd album Exile Entertainment Best sold almost 1/2 a million less than what Exile Catchy Best sold

^My guess is that it's because CATCHY BEST and BALLADS BEST are pop.
ENTERTAINMENT BEST was mainly R&B/HIP-HOP influenced.

^....or it could be that EXILE's fanbase perfer their ballads over their upbeat songs. They released it at the right time since it's ballad season and the fact that theor fanbase like their ballads alot. EBB has been predicted for months that it was going to do better than the other bests anyway.

I think so since usually for Winter's case , ballads will be pumped out from artistes

that might be the reason as to why EXILE BALLAD BEST's doing even better than EXILE ENTERTAINMENT BEST

The fell short of a mill but they still did exceptionally well for their 1st week. We might not see these type of figures for a while.

That's right that their fans like ballads over up-beat songs generally but still the CATCHY BEST sold more than ENTERTAINMENT BEST too.

Cute pop songs, up-beat pop songs and ballads are still what's the most successful in japan and those compilations fiasco just shows it =P.

It seems that EXILE has another compilation on top 10.

I suppose if White X'mas didn't have limited pressings for both editions , they can easily clear 300K & above for the 1st week but still congrats to the guys
