I'm really excited for this. I don't feel like it's too soon - as truehappiness pointed out above, she's been recording tracks for a good while now... and there's still two months until the actual release of the album.

I love that Ayu's keeping us on our toes this year - there's barely been a dull moment, and the music we've been getting has been top notch. She's working hard and it's paying off wonderfully for her :heart

Maybe we had too many PVs! I'm estimating that the A-sides of her 48th-49th-50th singles will be on, which will account for six songs, and already we have FIVE PVs for those; I'm not sure if SEVEN DAYS WAR will even be in the album...

And I'm estimating some three interludes again, so if we go on a 14/15-track configuration, I'm estimating that there could be four or five new songs; the last time we had some 17 tracks on an Ayu album was back five years ago with (miss)understood back in 2005/2006...

But optimism/high expectations is like the #1 letdown/ruiner. R'n'R was described by Ayu as the best product from Hamasaki Ayumi...

IMO R'n'R has some of her best tracks since Secret. Besides, in one of the magazine interviews I read (translated by Misa, so I'll have to see if I can find it again) she said her favourite album is always her most recent one, because it's the closest to the person that she is at that moment.

R'n'R was the latest album, therefore the most authentic to the Ayu of that time, that's why it's the best for her.

(miss)understood had 16 tracks, MY STORY has 17.
(miss)understood had 6 new album tracks, MY STORY had 8.

Hm...

I'm really happy but so worried for the sales, two albums in a year could mean bad sales...Still excited!!!

well, not for me. since it's ayu, I always keep my expectations extremely high for her releases and I'm hardly ever let down.
but anyway, I was just talking about being optimistic as in just looking forward to the album and hoping for the best and not having the attitude that this album is going to suck when we haven't even heard anything about how it's going to sound.

I'd love it if she made an 80s themed PV for SEVEN DAYS WAR haha...
