i agree that only 8 tracks really sucks, altho ill get this album for the dvd.

i dont think this is a sign that shes quitting because shes still doing the 2003-2004 tour remember? so the a-dvd of [A BEST] would surely be released after the tour had ended if it was because shed decided shed had enough.

Well, hey, I guess Ayu and Avex figure that after 5 full length original albums, she can slack off on her 6th album.

Besides, with Hikki releasing in the US in January, buying her album will quickly make me forget my Ayu sorrows. It will be the first time I've ever been able to buy JPOP in the US!

I wish that at least they redo some of the single tracks. I mean, it would be cool to have "Album mixes" of the single tracks so that it wouldn´t be all the exactly same tracks again.

I'd hope so too... I remember with Ayu-Trance 2 and 3, the Hanabi mix was about the same length in both of them, yet on J-trance, it was about 2 min. longer! At least with longer (or reworked) versions of the songs, perhaps there'd be a better incentive to get the album.

Oh yeah, that was another thing I hated about Ayu trance 2: it brought us samples of "I am..." and "Free & Easy" trance mixes that we never got full versions of. Errr..... :(

heh. i doubt theme of a-nation is a real a-side. if it were going to be on her album, she would at least change the name (lets just hope that its not BECAUSE OF YOU!) :laugh

"H/\L - SINGLES" is almost identical to what ayu's releasing (except with one more track).

..i wont be too suprised if it's just simply titled AYU SINGLES and has a picture of a necklace that says AYU ont eh cover. :P

hmm... I'm not sure of Ayu's CD being that "simple", although it'd be quite the change if she did (seeing as this mini-album is already a change from her previous releases). As I told you, it'd be quite the surprise if the album was called "Ayumi Hamasaki", but I'm sure there'll be more news about this within the coming week ;)

Uggh...that's different, Avex was giving up on H/\L then went with promoting d.a.t., probably why so little effort was put into it. That H/\L singles if you do a search on Oricon sadly only peaked at around the 40th ranking -__-"

I don't think Ayu would be that bland though, afterall the new songs are just random stuff wacked on, they still have their CM tie-ups~

H/\L SINGLES was quite like a goodbye from H/\L since they stopped releasing stuff ever since....it's a very old release. It´s COMPLETELLY different from what Ayu is doing, they released this SINGLES album AFTER their As Long As You Love Me Album which means this SINGLES is nothing more than a compilation of singles A SIDES + PVs for those who want to know what H/\L is.....By the other side they´re considering this ayu mini album her 6th album, shameful really.

Well good thing the album wont have anymore new musicm i didnt really like the style that she was presenting this year. I hope she does something tottaly different for her 7th album singles.
