Hoping for rock songs that she hasn't sung in awhile:

1) End of the World
2) talkin' 2 myself
3) alterna
4) ourselves
5) Rule

COME ON!!!!

SURREAL__RAINBOW 11th September 2012 02:33 AM

Return Road would be spot on :yes

I would love M rock version like in PoM! :love

I've got the feeling that she'll have a nice mix of rock songs and ballads, perhaps throw evolution in there, although I would prefer SURREAL :innocent

I know people would hate me for this but I wish she will perform Humming 7/4 lol. It's so upbeat and rockish, much more than other MY STORY pop-rock songs as GAME and About You imo. Don't know why people hate it so much :laugh.

I love that song, too! I love it when she preforms it, it's so fun! I hope she closes with it at Kishidan!

I want her to perfom humming 7/4 too!!
I wanna jump in front of my computer singing along with her :P
EVERYBODY GO, EVERYBODY JUMP!!

Even if it had the fast chorus, if it were heavier that'd be so damn awesome...
i think its one of the songs that would benefit off a heavier arrangement

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th September 2012 02:14 AM

Time is passing...I'd love a new rock single coupled with a JEWEL-type ballad.

TeamAyu2004 12th September 2012 02:23 AM

hopefully we can hear a new song!

clover_bali 12th September 2012 04:07 AM

whatever about song... i hope ayu can make her BEST performance, BEST concept, BEST costume, (and BEST voice?) :love

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th September 2012 04:24 AM

Doubt we'll hear a new song, but I'd love Return Road, reminds me, GAME, etc.

TeamAyu2004 12th September 2012 04:28 AM

^ the game comes out in 2 months... when did we get the next song for ToX?

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th September 2012 04:43 AM

^FIVE released on 2011.8.31
ToX released on 2011.9.8

TeamAyu2004 12th September 2012 05:04 AM

So a week for the real release, but I thought we heard it a lot earlier than that?

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th September 2012 05:55 AM

^I thought it was a TV program airing?

TeamAyu2004 12th September 2012 06:14 AM

^ i really dont remember, lol.
I wanna say somewhere between 2-3 weeks before the game we got the opening and it had the song with it.

So I've recently made friends here in Japan with a huge Ayu fan. He is a japanese man and has been to every one of her tours since her first one in 2000. We were talking about this Kishidan show and the talk we had really showed the differences in musical perception between Japanese and western fans.

I was telling him that I was really excited for this show because it would probably be an all ROCK setlist. And he was like "Yeah, yeah! I really want to hear Last Angel!!" :thud I would never imagine classifying Last Angel as a rock song, lol.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 12th September 2012 10:47 AM

Maybe Last Angel because of the feeling it has, the lyrics, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if she performed that song :yes It would fit I guess.

And she performed it between Microphone and about you before, maybe they just see it as a rock song now? XD

That definition of Rock would make much sense with the way Ayumi talked about RnRC, you know, the "I sing the song with a feeling in mind and so it's transformed into rock". The subject matter and desperation of Last Angel is truly powerful, so for that I guess it would fit.

Yea, a heavier version of evolution would be awesome!
I'm really interested to see how the setlist turns out. Just because this is a rock festival doesn't mean that she'll only perform her songs that fall under the 'rock' genre, there's still the possibility that she could do different, more rockish arrangements for some of her other songs; like M from Power of Music, or even Fly High from the tv version of the TA Live Tour seems slightly more rockish than the original version of the song (but maybe I'm the only one who thinks that lol).
In any case it'll be really interesting to see what she comes up with. I really hope it wont just be a kind of rehash of Hotel Love Songs and this year's a-nation.

TeamAyu2004 12th September 2012 06:32 PM

last angel could be considered rockish... i think more of a heavy dance beat though.
