Fully man made clay ayupan. From the picture, the size is slightly bigger than the Sega ayuapns! Should be ard 5inches tall (>.< no place for it) |
Looks like the horse daruma sold out extremely fast!
Daruma is always popular. So Japanese just place it at home as a decorative item?

It's a good luck charm for the year. Usually the eyes are blank though to fill them in at the beginning/end of the year or something to make a wish, but this one has them filled in since it's a bit of a novelty item. I still want one, haha.
haha, didn't realize it has filled eyes, then I don't know why they would buy them beside collecting an Ayu item, and yeah, basically you draw one eye making a wish and them if the wish is fullfilled (doesn't matter when) you 'thank Daruma' by drawing the other eye.

Won chopsticks on yahoo ^^ canīt wait to get them, they are so pink *_*
^ Wow! Congratulations! How much did you get them for? *.*
1100 Yen ^^
Woah, that's not too expensive! I wish I could get these as well .__.
As expected the Clay Ayupan is sold out allready ^^
If you go to any temples around the new year in Japan you can buy a regular daruma for 300-500 yen or so. I know its all special because its Ayu merchandise, but honestly I wouldn't waste my money on an Ayu themed daruma. Especially one that already has both eyes filled in, what's the point of that? :thud
It's just a cute collector's item. I don't think people would use the Horse Daruma for anything other than display for the year/New Year.
