I think it's more ASIA IS ONE now we know she want to expand her activities in Asia it makes sens ^^

I agree 11 tracks is a bit low but it's always like that with Ayu ... when I compare with other J-singers some albums have 15 tracks and more with no interludes etc... but at the same time Ayumi write her lyrics so if she had to force herself to write for the sake of having 2 or 3 additional songs ...it's not good !

If we get 8 new songs without interludes I would be satisfied ! Except for Party Queen or My story we only get 5/6 new songs or 7 if we are lucky lol

I'm loving the title. Super excited. That title just sounds so much more...artistically inclined than some of her recent titles.


Also... If you add an "L" between "A" and "One" it makes "Alone." Not saying anyone else didn't figure that out, but it was just a funny spelling-thing that made me..giggle I guess. XD

You guys are complaining because 11 tracks is low but what you seem to have forgotten is that she no longer release 2/3 singles prior to the album release like she used to.

If we take Love Songs as an example which is 16 tracks long, 9 songs were new, and if we do not count the interludes : only 6
Let's take another : (miss)understood, 8 new songs but 2 interludes so 6 new songs

Now, A ONE : 8 new songs, but we don't know if there will be interludes or not tho. Anyway you catched my drift, she is just giving us more new material at once than before, the only reason her albums aren't 14/15 tracks long anymore is because she doesn't bother releasing singles anymore.

^Or has no/less interludes than before like Colours.

Well, if you leave the interludes/intros out, total amount of songs on each album is this:

A Song for XX: 15

LOVEppears: 15 (14 if you don't count kanariya)

Duty: 11

I am...: 14 (13 if you don't count flower garden)

RAINBOW: 13 (12 if you don't count +)

MY STORY: 14

(miss)understood: 14

Secret: 11

GUILTY: 10

NEXT LEVEL: 10

Rock'n'Roll Circus: 12

Love songs: 13 (12 if you don't count SEVEN DAYS WAR)

Party Queen: 11

LOVE again: 13

Colours: 10

A ONE: 11

So if you look at this, having 11 songs on a Ayu album isn't unusual at all. Her albums has looked like they're longer but only because there has been 1-4 interludes. I personally don't mind Ayu stopping using interludes from now on. COLOURS is a great example of how great an Ayu album without intros/interludes can be. :D

Most of her titles seem plain without the rest of the album behind them. Because this one is a bit different, I'm excited to see where it goes. I wish I had a clue, but the title literally gives no clues.

But you forget that she used to have way more single/digital single songs before the albums. If you cut the already known single songs, some her recent albums would have more new songs than others.

It should be like this:

A Song for XX: 10

LOVEppears: 7

Duty: 7

I am...: 7

RAINBOW: 8

MY STORY: 9

(miss)understood: 6

Secret: 7

GUILTY: 5

Her average was always 6-7 new songs.

I think this album will be the Real Ayu with the first albums style and good pop/rock and kawaii songs

The bad thing is if avex continue with the thin cases insted of big ones cases D:

But my list has the TOTAL amount of songs (singles included) because some people are complaining because A ONE will have only 11 songs. I wanted to list the total amount of songs on each album to make people realize that it's not really a big deal. -.-

People will always find things to make a big deal of lol. Like an album title.

I am sooo totally excited for this new album!!! I think the title, "A ONE", sounds pretty cool! :D It's creative & interesting, so I approve & totally interested in finding out what it's referring, to. :) I am also extremely happy for two new PVs, along with a PV for "Last minute", which I love so very much. :heart Thank you, ayu, for making a PV for it! April really does seem like it's forever from now (considering how terribly cold & long this winter is :() but I have a pretty good feeling, that this album will be worth waiting for. :D

I am looking forward to finding out more info, like covers & stuff! Waiting for it all is just so exciting!!! Can't wait. :)
