^well, since he wasn't that enthusiastic about is singing career lately and is more into performing, he decided to join Ayu's troup as a dancer to enhance the Ayu live experience with his fantastic acting skills which can be observed in Moon Child.

KO looks weird depending on how you look at him.
And the bea's Up hair is bad. Dress is fine. |
Ayu arrived at Shizuoka and wrote that immediately remember accident that happened last year.
I think she talk about Riki fall from stage |
She looks totally cute in that close-up.
Everyone's entitled to their opinions so I'd never try to take that away, but who are we to decide whether or not she's looking childish? If she's having fun, I just don't get why it's such a big deal. :shrug |

Hamasaki Ayumi is an artist who isn't dependent on what's cool and trendy. She gives a shit about what people think about her, her music, her shows, her image etc. most of the time. Actually I WOULD respect that if she wouldn't try to cater to a younger audience by releasing work in regards to music, videos, pictures and so on that constantly infantilises AND sexualises her. The combo of childish AND sexy is what kills it for me because of it's link to pedo culture. |
I think we're going a bit far with that comparison. Everyone has their own point of view, but Ayumi is a grown woman who can pose however she wants. The 'cute' concept in Japan is highly fashionable and to ignore that part of their culture in regards to how even older women represent themselves is to not speak with the full picture in mind.
I'll leave the above posts for now but let's drop the topic. I don't really see this leading to any appropriate discussion for AHS. |

Yeah but the "cute" culture is also totally basic and not very deep. It's easy for a Japanese celebrity to be cute just as it is for an American celeb to be sexy and scandidly clad. It's just a bit too forced you know? Ayu was never one to do kawaii things for her albums/tours until later in her career( that's not to say she wasn't seen as cute - she was because of how petite and pretty she was , but rather she never did the forced kawaii stuff) Most of the cute culture is actually catered towards older otaku men. It does seem forced from her especially when her MADE in Japan lyrics are so so mature and important. But to each their own!

Wonder why she hid the dress since it's very pretty but nothing special!
|
no idea. Maybe because it's for the beauty/fashion magazine and they ask her not to show what will be published months later
|
It also could be a dress that hasnīt been released at that time.
