Kouhaku once had astonishing 70 - 80% between 1962 and 1985.

And why would Namie help the ratings when she appeared for 5 minutes in a 4 hours show?? Lol. |
^yeah exactly. east-Germany had only three channels around that time. Its decades ago, and therefore it is a huge number.

Seems like that NHK documentary was a hit, as they are rebroadcasting it due to many requests.

In relation to the tour goods, I really want to order some of the items but I’m having trouble with the website, I guess you have to create an account? I’m only able to guess based off of a google translation. Should I be using a tenso address? Any help is appreciated
|
Yeah, you need to log into an account to actually buy everything. The store is linked to your ticket board account, I believe.
Everything regarding purchasing from the Cart page onwards can be viewed in English if you click on the Language button at the top of the page, by the way! For me, her sites always change automatically to English whenever it's possible but not sure if that happens for everyone else. The store's guide specifically says it will not ship overseas, so you'll definitely need to use your Tenso address. Quote:

^ And I did some research and Kobukuro's All Singles Best surpassed the 3kk mark (shook). But still, YAAAY for Namie :luv2
Edit: I just noticed, even KBKR sold that much, the album was released in 2006, so Namie owns this decade :V |
- for a solist, itv was Ken Hirais Utabaka
- for a solo female it was Utada SC Vol.1 - for any Japanese Act (a "band" in this case) it was Kobokuro ALL SINGLES BEST |
Very happy for her. It doesnt matter whether she out sales utada or not. Namie has broken records in times were good sales are rare for a soloist. She’s a legend.
