Yesterday, all Tour dates in China have officially been canceled because of Covid (they were postponed for 2 years).
Jolin is working atm on her new album.

I just finished buying the physical copies UGLY BEAUTY and MUSE on ebay. Still missing MYSELF, Butterfly and her cover album Love Exercise which I'm trying to track down. Just I'm in Canada and can't find anywhere online (besides YesAsia. They don't have these past albums and their shipping to Canada has gotten very expensive) that sells Chinese/Taiwanese music AND accepts Paypal. Anybody know anywhere that's mostly in English?
I also really want to order her UB Tour Bluray and new album once they're available.

I've been out of the loop with Jolin for so many years, that when this song with her name came up on my Sirius XM in my car the other day, I was like "OMG WHAT JOLIN TSAI ON THE RADIO?!" It was really nice!

Jolin is still working on the new album and is already thinking about the new tour's script.

6 concerts will be held in December in Taipei in order to give a proper ending to the Ugly Beauty Tour ! She will perform Pirates, it's a promise she made to fans.


A new single will be released in early December, it's for a movie. Jolin participated in its creation ! She will also perform the song live during the last dates of the tour.

I hope she will release her tour video digitally as I don't have dvd player anymore ��

It is like she could hear my prayer to sing Pirates live again, I still wish for 怀念 and 许愿池的希腊少女。

New single called 親愛的對象 untitled for the upcoming Taiwanese movie 關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事 Marry my dead body ! Jolin co-wrote the song after reading the script and watching the trailer. Movie director Cheng Wei-hao asked her to make the theme song (they already collaborated on 紅衣女孩 Lady In Red and 愛的羅曼死 Romance MVs).

Note: the MV is a prequel of the movie.

Ugly Beauty World Tour and the Ugly Beauty era will officially end on January 8th.
If everything goes well, Jolin's new album and new tour will be out in 2023.

I have watched many fancam videos from this tour. I am happy she performed PIRATES again. I reminisces my childhood when I watched MTV and fell in love with her because of this song and 城堡 was the first cd I owned with my collecting money.

One thing that makes me a bit sad that recently she hasn't used the old choreography which is fit and beautiful to each song. I really understand she is older and probably some patterns would be too hard for her now but most of her dance now is just moving hands, legs and shake her hips hahaha. No offense, I just miss her when she was Dancing Diva, her dance used to be her strength :)

She's forty and has a very healthy life, she's not seventy :laugh
Actually for several tours now she's been changing the choreos for almost every song, because she wants to propose something new every time, but it often happens that I like the original ones way more as well... They're so iconic !
