you went immel because you have too much money, bastard.

immel 27th November 2006 11:04 AM

Yes, and the too much money then equaled zero money :(.

adpoyao 1st December 2006 01:34 AM

immel, i was wondering how you brought money to japan? I don't think they'll take foreign contry's money such as EUR or USD. Did you have to go to a bank to convert your money to yen first, or did you simply used a credit card?

I'm asking because I am really hyped up for my first 2007 Ayumi concert!

immel 1st December 2006 11:19 AM

I used a credit card, be careful though, not many credit cards work over in Japan.

I also exchanged some money into Yen before I went, so as to have some pocket money.

oro77 2nd December 2006 06:30 PM

You can also exchange money in Japan.
Or get cash from your credit card before shopping or going out.

immel 2nd December 2006 06:31 PM

Yeah. I brought my credit card there, but I always withdrew money from my account to have in my pocket for going out.

Don't rely on paying with your CC when you're shopping or eating in Tokyo, unless you're going to the more expensive places.

oro77 18th December 2006 11:47 AM

I have a question about the yoyogi stadium.
Has someone been in the middle of the yoyogi stadium(not in south or north part)

http://img167.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/u...815a2-1920.jpg

I want to know if these places are much better for the view because they are so expensive in the auctions.
I mean other people in front may interfer the view.
The places in south and north are further but we can see the whole stage without problem.

ayu1m 18th December 2006 04:28 PM

Well now my trip to Tokyo has been confirmed. I bought the flight tickets ^^

I'm going in may so hopefully Ayu has a concert in Tokyo/Japan at that time, although I highly doubt it T__T'

Damn Asian tour....

Yes a bit short
I think the last AT was at the beginning of June. With the Asia Tour, it may be July this year. Too bad for you.

Bigtop 25th December 2006 02:45 AM

That is a great guide!

Well, depends on if you want to be straight in front of the scene, or sit way to the left or right of it...

It's all up to your own preference, some people think you get a better view from the elevated positions while others totally prefer the arena ones. I don't know, I've only been standing in the arena. I must say I was completely satisfied with my seats, though.

It's up to you, if you'll ever get the chance to go to more than one performance, try different positions and see for yourself, it's only you yourself who can judge what you prefer.

I thought her AT would be from March till June???

oro77 31st December 2006 06:27 PM

I just wanted to say I am happy to be alive, it was the first time being to a Countdown concert.

I had ticket for 18000 yen, quite expensive becquse the seat was in the center, but far from Ayu (D6). Still I am much more closer than before (arena seats) but the view is a bit worst because we cannot see the whole stage except if you are very tall (my height is 171cm, normal japanese height but I am not japanese)

My seat was quite good, the person in front of me was small and Iwas at the complete right, nobody to interfere my parapara of Trauma. But I still don t knoz the independent one, shame on me....

Concerning the goods, there are very nice. I love the new logo, reminds me the great MY STORY logo.
I bought the sticker (no uchiwa as expected), the wirst band, the calendar with my first ayu pan inside, key holder (don t know the name in proper english sorry.)

Maybe there are some spoilers.

The concert was great but not perfect.
The sound (at least from my seat) was sometimes horrible, especiqlly for Beautiful Fighters, the instruments wew kind of messed up ans Ayu voice were barely heard, I think it is not because of Ayu or musicians but people who manage the sound (don t know the name)

About the performance, I noticed at first some same costumes than Arena tour 2003 for ourselves but with better colors (not pink but darker colors)
and same performance for A Song for XX than the Arena Tour 2002.
I would have prefered something new.

But I really love the evolution performance ans the foloowing songs (forgot which ones) I just love the costume. Maybe I am wrong but at the beginnning of the concert(before encore), Ayu seems very active, a lot of moves and dances. Pretty cool (especially evolution)

About the tracklist, I hoped to see GAME, Moments , INSPIRE, STEP you, but none of them, too bad.

I don t have photos of goods stands, did not bring my camera and my mobile does not have one. Too bad.

(I just stopped this post, I saw Ayu performing 1 LOVE in CDL, I wondered how she can still be so energic, really great !!)

The biggest surprise for me was until that Day... after the great ola lol.
Very good but Ayu missed some "lalala" I love (she sang the "lalalla" ans "uh uh" better in the album)

I forgot to say so many things, sorry.

Last thing, HAPPY NEW YEAR from Japan.
あけましておめでとうございます!!

(I don t really know where to post that, I am in a manga cafe so internet is not free, not a lot of time to search. sorry for the inconvenience. )

SunshineSlayer 1st January 2007 11:04 AM

Ah, so there were 2 AHSers at the show! I don't remember hearing any sound problems in Beautiful Fighters, so it may have just been where you were sitting. Where did you get your tickets? Because 18,000 yen is actually fairly cheap for a CDL performance even if they were tickets that are far back.

Anyways, I have a another reseller shop for immel to add to the list. It's called Ticket World (written in katakana) and is located in Shinjuku. It's hard for me to say exactly where as Shinjuku is crazy, but it's down one of the main streets after exiting the Shinjuku metro station and is on the right hand side of the road. It's smaller than the Harajuku and Ueno ones and was extremely crowded when I went. (this was the night of the 30th and everyone was trying to get Ayu tickets at the last minute.)
