Yeah, if you want to watch the documentary all at once, you might have to just skip the songs..

Unless someone on AHS rips their copy and makes it "DOCUMENTARY ONLY" XD

I hope I get mine before the release date!!

And as for the total, the CM states that the live+documentary+encore is 210 minutes long or 3 and a half hours.

120 minutes for the live footage and 90 for the documentary.

That 90 minutes will probably be divided between the four songs they need to add [JEWEL, momentum, flower garden, Memorial address], the three special screens, and other stuff.

There'll probably be a lot less Ayu watching the dancers perform with Poroko [since that was a lot of A BEST 2's DoCDL06-07..]

Just to compare, here are the running times for AT02 through AT06:
AT02: 116 minutes
AT03-04: 120 minutes
AT05: 214/215 minutes
AT06: 218 minutes
AT07: 210+/- minutes

Of course, the addition of the MCs is what can be attributed to the 90+ mass added to the AT05 and AT06 running times. AT06 had more MCs and AT05 had more bloopers/weird stuff.

For the most part, they wasted a lot of space on the DVD02 with the encore+random stuff, so... perhaps they packed these DVDs to the brim? :O

So whats ur point of finding out the running times of AT 02 - 07? u want the whole AHS to listen to u is it?

It's pretty, I really like that A.

I don't even know what you're getting at here. :innocent

Basically, it was to disprove this:

The content is so much less than AT 2005 and 2006. No wonder its so much cheaper.
It's basically the same, if not more material.

AT02, AT03-04, A MUSEUM, AT05, and AT06 were all around 6050yen with tax. Kinda weird, but I don't know why even the shorter DVDs were so expensive. :o

No matter how well this is pulled off, whether it has a live only option or not, I'd still rather a LIVE DVD and a seperate DOCUMENTARY DVD.

I think that avex probably wanted that option at first too, but maybe they found that people wouldn't really touch the 2nd DVD after one or two runthroughs? :/

I mean, it's logical that they would try to keep the same formula. I wonder if they'll give a reason later on for the decision to smash the two together..?

thanks for all the info and links and pics...

well, inserting the documentary is not sooo strange. koda made it for one of her latest concerts (sorry, it's impossible to me to discern which one is each, because of their similar names ><)

perhaps you have the option to see all the doc and all the show apart ^^

here's my collaboration:

Well the only good thing I can see is that if they show the MCs in Taiwan/Shang Hai/Hong Kong, there's probably going to be subtitles on the screen cos I think it's a little insane if Ayu were to go on in Japanese and laughing with Yo-Chan/the band while the fans stay dumbfounded at what they're saying.... O.o

alternarist 2nd March 2008 03:36 PM

^ thats basically what happened in HK. cos they did speak in cantonese and english. but a large part (70%) is still in japanese. :P

waterballoon 2nd March 2008 03:38 PM

So there are no subtitles of any sort on the screen? Oh my I'd be lost in translation if I was at there!

se7entheaven 2nd March 2008 04:19 PM

well...ok ok
just wait and see someone post the actual dvd pics as well as the ones who have got the dvd to tell us how's and what's actually inside
