I wanted to hold an Unofficial Jpop Karaoke Contest, since it doesn't pertain to Ayu, we'd have to do it...

I'm sure people would enter, judging by the amount of submissions we had for the Ayu one, and who actually entered.

I was surprised that the "ayu-contest-only" members didn't outnumber the active members.

I would actually group tablet work as digital art instead of traditional.
I don't think it would be fair, since you could just have your reference pic as a bottom layer and paint right on top(and theres no way to disprove it). and they have the advantage of always having the perfect color match with eyedropper tool.

I'd LOVE a pencil drawing contest. I haven't drawn Ayu in a long time, but if I had a reason to, I'm sure I could do it :)

I don't know much about tablet drawing but that does sound like an unfair advantage. Yeah, definitely gonna go with Koumori's suggestion on this one. Create a separate category for digital art and perhaps allow those contestants to use PS as well. Solves both problems and puts both digital and traditional drawers on a more level playing field.

Thinking about creating the interest thread sometime this week probably after L releases and we get the PV's because everyone will be focused on that. Any more things y'all think should be addressed?

I think it should either be drawing or painting... drawing would allow things like pencil, charcoal, pastels, colored pencil, crayons, pen & ink, etc. Painting would allow watercolor, oil, acrylic, poster paints :P whatever. (if someone wanted to use ink in conjunction with any paints, that'd be ok too ^^)

I'd love to see what people came up with... someone doing really creative art & mixing media would just be awesome.

I would love to see an acoustic orchestra remix contest. I wouldn't participate but I would love to listen to the entries.

I think a remix mashup would be fun... or the manga one.

I would say an poem lyrics contest or something with writing.

Or something like, desigh an Ayu tshirt or AHS t shirt.
