I do, especially with rock music. The instruments sound horrible if it's less than 192Kbps.

TeamAyu2004 28th March 2012 03:44 AM

KuroixShiroi_Namida 30th March 2012 02:50 AM

Usually 320kbps or iTunes Plus. Recently i've been getting FLAC just because of my Beats by Dr Dre.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 2nd April 2012 04:25 AM

hm...at least 256kbps for me. And I use BOSE in-ear earphones...they are fantastic.

Delicious n Bold 2nd May 2012 07:37 AM

256kbps iTunes plus for me.
I don't really notice a difference between said bit rate and 320kbps.
Although I lean towards the iTunes plus.

If it's a song I can only find in 128, it'll do, but the second there's a better version - BING :D

I need it in HQ quality or I won't really listen to it until a better quality comes out.

HQ 320kbps+ for me!

harufi 2nd January 2013 06:19 PM

Got to be at least 320kbps for me! :) Pain in the butt for the space it takes up but I can tell the difference if its lower xD

Chiharo 2nd January 2013 06:28 PM

Actually, I have my whole music collection (1771+ songs) in ALAC, strictly checked for quality (no transcodes at any costs), and if there are singles/albums I love that are not available in lossless quality (considering I'm saving my money to purchase something else), I can settle for either 320 kbps mp3, or anything but below 192 AAC.

It's not like I even have the best headphones out there or the best system to listen to music on but I always want to know that if I'm listening to something, it's in best quality it can be.

Elednist 5th January 2013 10:56 PM

I do care a lot, at least I want songs in 320kbps, I always rip my music in lossless format

C+R+E+AYUMI 11th January 2013 09:08 AM

I don't care..

~StarCatcher~ 11th January 2013 09:48 AM

Only HQ I don't like low quality it makes a song worse.

jean-baptiste 3rd June 2016 01:35 AM

Low quality files literally hurt my ears, especially if the song is originally loud (like hard rock for example). HQ files all the way. Unless I can't find a HQ version of the song, then low quality is better than nothing.

Poor quality music results in profuse EAR BLOOD.
