1 LOVE - Many people here have said that the song is bad and video good, but for me it's vice versa.

I think that Ayu's videoclips are not special in general like most of people say, there are few awesome in story or visually PVs, but the rest is weird or doesn't suit to song. Searching "symbolism" is stupid in several videos of her.

CAROLS - soo boring _-_ I'd like to see something like Days, but with a happy ending ofc~
NEXT LEVEL - I've loved song recently, but PV is kinda mistake...
Greatful days - In my opinion it can be better PV to it, but real video even brings me fun during watching ;)

my name's WOMEN - don't know why this is one of the most favourite Ayu fans' PVs... When I read the lyrics, I think: "It deserved for better PV". I don't like way of presenting story in PV.
Born To Be... - When I was first watching this, I was like: "WTF?!" I think that the part with talking teenagers etc. would be like as full video.
M & evolution - I think that it would happened more in video... But it's only 2 videos in this list which I don't have any bad opinions to.
HANABI ~episode II~ - I hate her acting here so I've watched this PV maybe twice...

Now that her new album FIVE has hit stores, i'm super disappointed with the BRILLIANTE film clip. It's definitely one of her weirder ones, so much so that it doesn't actually match the lyrics! An egyptian princess being awoken by a cross dressing chick surrounded by men in the shower? i'm sorry but WTF!?

It's a pity i was expecting something elaborate and sensual. The weirdness has definitely ruined the song for me :(

Also, a few people are saying rainy day had a bad pv. I actually thought it matched up pretty well. It's a calm, sombre song and the blue filter with the slightly bland scenery really made it feel like a horrible, rainy day.

I can add all Love songs PVs. Such a waste of money :/

Born to be and Next Level. Born to be almost made me blind and Next Level... being a lovely song, it deserves a better PV.

Both songs are amazing, Pride is one of my favorite Ayu songs ever, and she looks nice in both of em, but they are just too average for that amazing single.

It's teribly boring. Rock bands do such pv's I think. But she look gorgeous, though.

Such an amazing song with such average PV. (but she was obviously cute)

I never knew that so many Ayu fans didn't like the "ANGEL'S SONG" PV. It's one of my favorites for the pure, unadulterated WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.

My Picks:

"GREEN" and "Mirrorcle World" - Both had good concepts that were ruined by bad direction. I had no idea how any of the scenes related to one another--especially in "Mirrorcle World." These songs--and locations--deserved better.

"my name's WOMEN" -- I mentioned this in the Biggest Disappointments thread, but this video completely ruined the song for me. The whole idea that sexual dominance = sex workers = empowerment is just... I can't wrap my brain around it.

"Daybreak" -- I was upset about the remix anyway, but dat toilet paper dress... :(

"blossom" -- such a great song wasted on a generic ~dorama PV, further exacerbated by months of JYJ fans spamming the "ayumi hamasaki" tag on tumblr.

Other than that, I think Melody had a pretty mediocre PV. Kinda expected more than just kaleidoscopic dancers.

I'm quite surprised at the choices in this thread though. I mean SURREAL? That's classic ayu PV imo.
